I tried the garlic double steak burger combo. The burger and fries were delicious! Stopped by on a Sunday and this place was jumping. The lady working the cash register and dinning area was doing and amazing job getting things cleaned up and people rung up all with a friendly attitude. She definitely needs a raise! The dinning room itself could use a deep clean and some TLC. Air vents, paint metal trim all is very tired and gross.

As a restaurant, it’s gone way downhill since they stepped table service. Now it’s just a Zaxby’s with burgers instead of chicken. The burgers are still really good, but make sure you check the bag before you drive off. They get your order wrong maybe once in ten visits. I won’t really ever get over the fact that they’ve just given up on being a quality nostalgic restaurant, though.

Don’t usually leave detailed reviews but I’m beyond impressed by Mason. I don’t know that Mason is a manager, but he has incredible customer service attributes, perfect leadership skills & fantasic rapport. Love this restaurant, love the staff and will always come to this location when I’m in Dalton! Highly recommend!! Customer service in addition to high quality Beef tallow and wagyu beef are hard to come by

The customer service was good! The food was hot and fresh. The service was fast! It’s been a while since I had steak n shake due to my local location going out of business so it was a nice treat! The only thing that I didn’t like was that the sweet tea had no taste, the tables were sticky, and there were a lot of flies in the restaurant which makes it hard for you to eat and enjoy your food. Overall I still had a great experience.

Its a nostalgic place, clean, good food, meat is freshly cut. Cashier was very helpful, she gave us ideas, as this was our first time. I liked the milkshakes the different flavors and you can mix them. I had a PB and Banana one, it was really good.

My order was accurate and hot when I received it ! I always love a great Steak and Shake triple burger EVERYTHING No cheese . It was quite tasty and fresh and the fries were good as well ….The cashier along with other staff that I came in contact with was very nice and we’re all wearing smiles.
