Ok, so it usually takes A LOT to impress me with fries and hamburger but oh my goodness, this place nailed it to a whole new level. The fries were amazing and the burgers were delicious. I normally get heart burn after eating a hamburger but Steak and Shake uses Tallow to cook their food in and I would HAPPILY go back in a heartbeat. GREAT JOB. I was also able to buy a jar of beef tallow from them. And they cater.

The wife and I stopped in after church this past sunday in a rush and we were blown away by how good the food was. We both had double Steakburgers and fries. Love how Steak ‘n Shake uses beef tallow for cooking now. Kiosk ordering was easy. Food came out fast and the customer service was excellent. We will be back.

We went up here to get some food around 10 pm, and sat at the speaker for almost 10 minutes with no response. we pulled up to the window, had to wait another 5 or so minutes before anyone even came to talk to us. it took about 7-8 minutes for us to get our food after. during that time 2 different cars had the exact same experience but they both ended up leaving due to no service.

The place was empty and pretty well kept up in cleanliness. The staff were nice and courteous, an they answered questions as needed. Food came out hot and well made, with ample cheese on the fries.
It was a good place to go for lunch and would go again,the $4 meals have gone to $5.29 now but still not bad for a double steak burger with everything on it and side of fries.

A soulless dining experience. Order from a screen, scan a code to get your drinks, pickup your own order, and throw your trash away. If this is the future of dining, I do not want it. The kiosk also defaults to include a tip…. for what I have no clue.
The drink machine would not give us our drinks so I had to request a staff member to help, they begrudgingly helped. Several staff members had their pants sagging with underwear hanging out. Not a single person smiled, welcomed us, or said had a good day even after I said hello or have a great day. Everyone looked very miserable who worked there. Cussing was heard from the kitchen constantly during our meal.
The bathroom had a broken toilet that was running non-stop, main bathroom door was stuck open, and the bathroom was dirty.
I will not be returning to Steak ‘n Shake until hospitality is brought back.

I normally don’t leave reviews but I think other should be aware. Myself & an older woman were waiting for our orders. The older woman’s milkshake came & she requested her cherry as it was missing & the girl at the counter by the drinks brought her a cherry with her bare hands. Handed it to her with her bare hands. She had tongs in the other arm she had her barehand on it. We were both so caught off guard. The woman asked me if I just saw that. It’s very unsanitary to have the utensils tucked under arm & bare handed with no gloves hand someone a food item even as small as a cherry with no gloves or anything.

Maybe a dozen customers in the restaurant and no other cars in the Drive-Thru, had to wait at least 10 minutes to get the order.

For the last several months the food here has been consistent and hot fries. Evidently they have a new manager so I will be avoiding this place now for several months.

I don’t know how this place is still open. I’ve been here several times and it’s always dirty, place smells like old mop and grease. The service is always slow.
Today I came with my son and he ordered the chicken fingers, I had the Frisco prime steak burger with onion rings.
Waitress (named “Q”) was extremely slow. I ordered water and a coffee. She brought the water but not the coffee. Another waitress brought the food out. No utensils, no napkins, nothing. I finally got up and asked for napkins and my coffee, took her another 5 minutes to being napkins and coffee. (Needed the napkins to wipe the extra grease off the burger buns).
She brought my coffee, didnt ask if I wanted cream so I asked someone else for it, then she brought cream and nothing to stir coffee with, so I had to get up again and go find a spoon.
Burger was too greasy to eat, it made me nauseated and that rarely happens to me, I can usually eat anything.
About the only thing I can say good about this place is that the kitchen staff is efficient, our food did come out fast. Oh, and the water was good!
I won’t be back and don’t recommend.
