Tired from a long day on a Saturday night I use the Steak ‘n Shake app. I ordered food so we thought in our Coming Georgia location. Instead, we got our order sent to the Alpharetta location. After we paid Almost $18 we immediately realized it was not at our location Store over a half dozen times no one answers the phone. The next day same thing no one answers their phone. Now I’m gonna have to drive over there to get my money back. Super annoying I take responsibility however, why won’t someone answer a ring line? From 950 to 10:30 no one answered the call. Same for this afternoon don’t use the app unless you’re dead certain you have the right.. However, they are the best burgers in America, possibly the world.

I’ve been coming to this location for a long time since the early 2000’s. Steak and Shake hasn’t always been the best restaurant historically, but as a whole brand they’ve really turned it around especially at this location. Food was fresh and tasted amazing. The service was even better. I order food for business meetings consistently and this is the best customers service I’ve gotten at any restaurant I’ve ordered from in the past 6 years. Would highly recommend steak n shake and especially at this location. I will be ordering large order from here again and will be taking my family also

I have not been to a steak and shake in years and while plenty has changed, a lot hasn’t. I’m not typically a fan of kiosk ordering, and prefer the human interaction but James made our experience feel like the classic steak and shake when there was table service. James was honestly the highlight of our meal. He was welcoming every guest as they walked through the door, helping with ordering and even offered to grab refills for any of the guests.
Burger and fries was a 10/10 as always.

I am a regular here and normally I have a pretty good/quick experience in drive thru. Today there was a new lady serving me around 3:30pm. I pulled up and heard nothing, gave it a few minutes and then started to question if they may have been closed because I received no greeting not even a “be right with you” no type of confirmation that anyone was aware I was sitting in the drive thru. So after a decent amount of time I said “hello” into the speaker, nothing came back to me. So I said “hello” again to see if someone was even there or knew that I had been waiting. After the second hello the lady literally screams into the speaker so loud that I jump back, and then tells me she has the headset on but she is helping another customer. Which is fine but at least acknowledge that you know I’m here a quick “be right with you” is not abnormal for the industry. I let her know “I’m sorry I was waiting a while and didn’t hear anything which is why I was saying hello “ she then responds in a combative manner telling me I wasn’t, even though I was and goes as far to say that she saw me when I pulled up. So you saw me here and didn’t bother to quickly acknowledge letting me know you’ll be right with me. Ultimately the experience turned my stomach, people that like are the ones you gotta watch and will mess with your food. Decided not to get anything after being handled that way. Hopefully she can be coached on how to handle customers even when things may be a bit busy, this could have all been avoided and I would have had steak and shake and waited patiently for it with a simple “be right with you” letting me know she was busy and acknowledging my presence at the same time. But yelling at me because you never acknowledged or asked me to hold is crazy.

Great burgers and fries, chicken strips were good. I wish that we had the option to order from a person as we accidentally picked cheese fries when we wanted regular. The scanner to fill the pop cups was also a major pain and didn’t work correctly.

The food was amazing, as always, but what really stood out this time was the excellent customer service. The restaurant is spotless and well-kept. A huge thank you to Jamie — he’s incredible! He greeted us warmly as soon as we walked in and made sure our food came out quickly. You can tell he works hard and truly cares about giving customers a great experience. It’s always refreshing to see someone take such pride in their job!

The service was quick but oh man that burger. For starters there was a hair in it and i’m pretty sure it was under cooked. Thank God I didn’t chow down on it. The fry’s were good and the onion rings were okay. Had it not been for the burger they would’ve gotten five stars.

I used to be a fan of the chain. Now, I don’t like the changes. I couldn’t make a dietary request. The French fries cooked in beef tallow didn’t make a change in the taste for the better, but they were so greasy. The iced tea was too sweet. Kids had moved chairs around, and it was so loud.
