SCAM ALERT! This restaurant is selling gift cards through their website and bank programs that at the time of redeem they say “gift cards are not accepted”. Don’t buy Steak n Shake gift cards specially if you live in Virginia there’s no location to redeem it. It didn’t work even I’ve asked to speak with a manager. The person there told me in a rude way that she’s the manager.

My family came 1.5 hours to see the Harlem Globetrotters on March 7th. When I saw there was a Steak ‘n Shake, I knew we had to go! The cashier, Revanth, was friendly and patient while taking our large order ($100+) He took our order and filled it after it was cooked. The food was hot and good. My only complaint is that he was filling the orders while other workers were standing there watching. I wish they would have helped him so that the people behind me didn’t have to wait so long to have their orders taken, which is why I gave 4 stars for atmosphere. Nonetheless, he provided great customer service so that is a big plus for me. I made sure to let him know how much of a good job he did and how much he was appreciated. Thanks Revanth!

Terrible Steak and Shake. I honestly wish that Mason replaced the Steak and Shake with a Burger King. I can’t count how many times that they’ve messed up my order. When I asked for double steakburger with cheese n’ fries, I got charged separately for the cheese and fries. The servers here are also really rude and gave me attitude. The burger tastes pungent, like a mouth full of onions. I rather walk across campus to go to the nearby Mcdonalds.
