Drove through Fort Stockton after camping in big bend for 4 days, living off water and PP&Js. Was early, and they were still serving breakfast. I’m not sure who it was, but I started a conversation with somebody who works there. Mentioned my diet for the past 4 days and made the comment about wanting a burger and he immediately went in the back and told them to stop making my breakfast and start making a bacon cheeseburger with fries, and it hit the spot!
That says a lot for a restaurant and the people to go out of their way during breakfast hours and make somebody passing through something special.
Would recommend this place 100% off that alone.

The staff was very polite and welcoming. The food was really good. If you’re ever passing through fort Stockton and need a good place to sit down and enjoy a good meal I highly recommend the steakhouse restaurant. I know the next time will be passing through will definitely be stopping there.

Oh my gosh, this place has got it going on! Do yourself a favor & stop in. We did & boy we are so glad we did. The food was very good & the frozen Sangria was the best! Our server was excellent!

Just not much to this place. Breakfast I had was mediocre sausage was poor. They even have a price on the menu if your paying with credit card or a cash price. I’ve eaten at 3 places if you don’t count McDonalds late one night. Passing through this town I’ve decided if K-Bobs isn’t open I’m going on to Eagle Pass. Just seems like a town this size in Texas would have better restaurants then just the one I’ve found.

We stopped here after a long day of driving based on the reviews. When we got there there were two other tables with people, so it wasn’t very busy. Good thing because there was only a single person waiting tables. She brought us water and menus, and then disappeared.
When some people came to pick up their takeout orders, she worked the register, but instead of taking their money and thanking them, she stood there chatting them up for quite a while, and ignoring us. After 18 minutes of waiting, we were too hungry to wait any longer, and left. As we passed her she gave us an insincere smile and said “Sorry about that!”. If I were the owner I would get rid of people like that who don’t understand basic customer service.

Excellent food and great service. Everything came out perfectly on time. I highly recommend the restaurant. They have very reasonable prices. The only negative was the waitress was wearing a t.u. shirt. 🙂
