First off let me start off by saying when we walked in it’s was a young man(the cook) and young lady(cashier) he spoke while the young lady looked very annoyed. I proceeded to ask a few questions which I could tell was annoying her even more. As me and my partner were paying for the food she got in her phone.. ok cool I get it I’ve been a cashier before but when my food was getting prepared she was asking if I wanted lettuce and tomato with a nasty attitude as if I did something to her. There were no other customers there but us…. She makes the food sets the bag up top on the counter and I’m noticing it’s all bent up barley holding up LITERALY and walks clean off I’m like umm okay thank you.. she doesn’t respond I look in the bag my fries were in there SIDEWAYS open .. my two sandwiches just thrown in the bag I took everything out and rearranged it before I left out and as I was walking out I said I will never return. By the way it was my first time EVER having Steak escape. I get in the car open the food and LOOK how disgusting this looks and thin!!!!. The fries look great but aren’t. They are cold and old.. I took these sitting infront of the restaurant as well… paid $38 for this bs.. The young lady needs to fix her attitude! I shoulda got a full refund l.

I love Steak Escape and I love the owner at this restaurant who is very respectful and hard working but he is definitely having major problems hiring good employees who work with professionalism. We grow up together, he was my neighbor and we went to school together.
I was over charged and yelled at (by the disrespectful girl with pink hair and a loud sassy mouth) for trying to give drink cup and fries back I paid for unknowingly yet didnt order. She told me to just throw away or give away. Yet I didn’t want to touch due to nut allergy in case peanut oil was used. And when I addressed manager and her about her tone and attitude her reply was…Awe, I’m sorry I made you feel that way in a smartelick tone…. One, she didn’t make me feel anyway she doesn’t have that much power over my emotions but she definitely needed a reality check and if she was my employees I would have fired the two ladies on the spot. Poor management and unprofessional service. The guy was obviously in training who messed order up ( sandwich was even wrong)yet he was very kind. It’s was the girl with pink hair who didn’t want to do her job and give refund knowing I was over charged. The manager, was too passive for position obviously unable to deal with the disrespectful girl with pink hair who has worked there awhile and thinks she has control over others. Bossy but not Boss material! And she never offered to make things right.
My order of 2 reg sandwiches, one loaded fry, 2 drinks was over $38 dollars. I will not do business with them as longer these ladies are employed with company.

We ordered from the menu then sat down and found all the tables were dirty with food crumbs. We informed the worker and he totally ignored it. When we got our food the orders were mixed up and the fries were dirty brown, cold and over cooked. The cook who was wearing a hat that said “I need a hug and a margarita” asked if I wanted my vegetables cooked or raw— on my salad, really?!!!We should have left then but since it was raining heavily outside, we stayed in. BIG Mistake! I got sick after eating the sandwich which had stuff on it that I asked to be left off, and drinking the watered down sweet tea. I had to throw away the rest of the nasty food, yuck, yuck! We would definitely NOT recommend as we would have been better off trashing the $22.76 we spent.

The food is good and the staff is super friendly. That being said the restaurant is dirty and when the store was slow they just kinda chilled behind the counter. They were out of several items including tea which is always empty. Took then almost 20 minutes to fill it after 5 reminders. The restaurant is in need of a deep clean and some new equipment after listening to the staff. With notice able shortcuts here makes me wonder what other corners are cut. I love Steak Escape and hope this is remedied sooner than later so I can come back.

First off, the staff was very friendly and helpful. So no complaints there. However, on a Saturday for lunch, the tables were either dirty or had been wiped with a dirty rag (they smelled like feet). My Black & Bleu sub was very lacking in the way of fillings. I had to tell both the cashier and the sandwich maker that I wanted mushrooms (even though the menu board states shrooms come on it), but I am pretty sure there were none on the sandwich. Could not taste any bleu cheese sauce or onions. We also got the loaded baked potato, which was pretty well covered with cheese (hence the 2nd star for “food.”) Four stars because they were friendly – but short one star because the sandwich was not made right. As nice as the staff was – I do not feel we got value for the money so I will not be returning to this location.

Last night, I was working in Hernando, MS, about 25 miles from home, and was excited to grab dinner at Steak Escape since I really enjoy their food. My co-worker had never eaten there, and I was eager to introduce him. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing.
We arrived around 8:20 PM, and as soon as we walked in, we noticed the staff cleaning the kitchen. I asked, “Are y’all still cooking?” and the employee, clearly overwhelmed, checked his watch and reluctantly said, “Uh, yeah.” I placed my order and asked to make it a combo, only to be told, “We’re not doing fries anymore tonight.” I asked if there were chips or another option, and he curtly replied, “Sandwiches only.”
Another customer came in, and the employee taking my order became visibly agitated. My co-worker and I decided to settle for just sandwiches. When we got our food, it was packed to go, even though we wanted to dine in. At that point, it was only 8:30 PM, but the staff made it clear they were in a hurry to wrap up. While we quickly ate, the entire restaurant filled with steam from the open kitchen being cleaned, making it an uncomfortable and rushed experience.
This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I regretted not walking out after that awkward and unwelcoming greeting. If this is the level of service they provide, I won’t be coming back.

I love steak escape but this is def not the real thing. Fries tastes like old refrigerator and there was hardly steak on the sandwich. This restaurant might have been great when it first opened but needs a deep cleaning bad

Avoid this place at all costs! Service is awful, the pink haired cashier whose name is apparently Dallas had a major attitude problem from the get go. Literally tossed our food on the counter to where it fell completely out of the bag. Very rude and mouthy, we got our money back and will not be returning.

Stopped in for a quick dinner after work. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was hot, fresh, and delicious.
