I wanted to gatekeep this place so bad but I need to rave about how good the matcha is. Please get the double matcha, it will change your life. The matcha is just so smooth and sooo strong and reasonably priced. The ambiance of the cafe is very comfortable and just a good place to sit in and work. Staff is so friendly and quick to make the orders. Truly love this new little cafe!

I found stay as a late night Cafe they have amazing pastries and their coffee (the honey oat one in the picture) was really good you can taste the coffee good and the sweetness both its really good. The matcha is also good doesn’t disappoint. Better than Starbucks by a mile. Come here if you want good coffee matcha and vibes plus they have a photo wall where you and your friends could take a picture and post it on the wall.

Unexpected, but welcomed coffee spot in Lawndale! Been hooked on their banana matcha latte, their strawberry matcha latte is also good. They also just introduced a weekend brunch menu.
Inside is aesthetic, has good seating, WIFI, and they have a photo dot machine that takes your picture and prints it out- most people paste this on their hallway leading out. Been here 4 times the past week- definitely going to keep coming back!

Owner and workers were very friendly. I enjoyed the strong matcha flavor. Highly recommend the coffee as the beans are personally roasted in the café. It’s not too loud and is a good place to get some work done.

One of the most disgusting matcha I’ve ever had, and I have a pretty low bar, just a casual enjoyer of matcha. I’m actually shocked as to what went so wrong with my drink. Ordered an iced matcha, no sweetener. What I got served had the thickness of a smoothie(??) and could feel the chunking powder at every sip. The drink even as it was served looked off, it was so extremely dark green, looked uncharacteristic of a typical matcha drink. Actually, it looked very different to the other pics on their google page of the same drink, hence why I’m so confused as to what they served me. I went Friday night, not sure if it’s an employee training issue or what, but I’m honestly so surprised. The place is beautiful inside, and I really wish they can figure out the issue. I will still come back to try their espresso drinks, and give the place another try, but man oh man was I so disappointed this time around. Oh, also it cost over $8 and I felt so bad because I had to toss the entire drink in the trash after four sips. I got it to-go, or else I would have approached the employees and asked them about it, but I was already on the 405.

Stopped by on a Sunday morning, and definitely a solid spot for coffee, matcha, and food in the area. We ordered a mix of drinks and food. Drink-wise, we tried the Banana Kick Matcha, Sweet Corn Matcha, and the Tiramisu Cream Latte. The Sweet Corn Matcha was my favorite — different in a good way and not too sweet. The Banana Matcha was solid, and the Tiramisu Cream Latte was richer and more coffee-forward. For food, we had the Dutch Baby Pancake, California Veggie Skillet, and the American Breakfast Plate. The Dutch Baby Pancake stood out the most. The California Veggie Skillet was also very good and filling, while the American Breakfast Plate was straightforward and did the job. Overall, the place has great menu options and I like the comfortable setting. Will definitely be back.
