What an enjoyable experience the place was packed, but that always means it’s good food in my opinion. We waited a few minutes. Two seats came up at the bar and that’s where we sat. The bartender was amazing. Had a great personality was very attentive. She came from California, which I know that doesn’t mean much to most people, but she was amazing. They even had an opportunity for you to say thank you to the cooks by giving them $25 if they did an amazing job so they could all have a round of drinks. How cool is that? Another great feature about this restaurant the food was amazing. I had a steak mashed potatoes and a salad. The house Italian was delicious. My husband had a fried green tomato crusted in cornbread. It was a fried green tomato BLT of course he shared some with me and it was fantastic. When we are in the area again we will definitely make this a stop oh, and I forgot one other plus the Fairfield by Marriott is right next-door so we did not have to travel finding a restaurant while we were staying at the hotel, we walked over. It was great.

Decent food an atmosphere. Beer cheese soup okay. Steak had great flavor but they over cooked it—asked for medium but was well done. Carrot cake was good. Prices are competitive. Would return though

If you are Driving I-80 West and this is on your way, save yourself and stop here, you will not be disappointed. This is not your average off the freeway stop. The food and service were excellent. Gourmet food & dessert. The kids loved their burgers, one had the classic and the other had a veggie burger. My husband said his salmon was excellent and portion size was larger than he expected. My daughter and I split the portobello ravioli and Caesar salad and it was delicious. The peach blossom mule did not disappoint either. We topped everything off with a Skillet Cookie Sunday that we shared on the outside patio before we got back on the road. Highly recommend this place! You are lucky to have this place if you are from this area.

It looked like a nice little place and had good reviews, BUT, service was slow and the food was decent. It took over a 1/2 hr for the giant pretzel to come out, and it was over done, like it had been re-heated from a day before. We had a pulled pork sandwich, and the bread was over toasted, nearly burnt. The Reuben was toasted better but still crisp. The two French dips were pretty good, but all the fries were almost burnt, so we had to pick through them. Disappointed in this stop.

Our waiter David was super funny and personable. Not only that, we enjoyed the mushroom stuffed ravioli with salmon and the chicken bruschetta linguini. The garlic bread was to die for. We traveled from about 4 hours away on a little weekend vacation and looked up a local restaurant to get dinner. We will definitely be back in hopes we get David again and try more of their food!

Recommended by friends who stop here each time they travel. Great food, our waitress was friendly and fun. A bit noisy as it’s basically a pub with tvs. We would stop again.

Middle of the road experience… super attentive and friendly service but food was on the bland side. We had crab meat stuffed mushrooms that we could taste any crab and my meatloaf meal was literally burned on the bottom… disappointing but I tried to eat it until I flipped it over to see it black. Also had the lamb lollipops that were just okay. Brinli was a great server and her smile and attentive service made it enjoyable, food not so much.

I had a great experience at this restaurant! I ordered a hot sandwich that was absolutely fantastic—flavorful, satisfying, and perfectly prepared. I also tried the cream cheese cake for dessert, which was rich and indulgent. The service stood out as exceptional—friendly, attentive, and professional. The overall quality of the food felt decadent, and the pricing was very fair for a lunchtime meal. Definitely worth a visit!

My husband and I recently ate here. Atmosphere and prices are good. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I got a French dip and baked potato and he got a burger and fries. Both meals were pretty good, however, and they can comment if I’m wrong, but they claim that the meat on the French dip is thinly sliced prime rib but it really just seemed like steak ums type of steak. Would eat here again and try other things on menu.

If you’re traveling on Rt 80 this is a great and easy place to stop for lunch! Food and service were great, had Fish Fry dinner, really good, not greasy and they had Malt vinegar (not every place does) and it was a very generous portion. Sweet potato fries were excellent too!
