A welcoming contemporary restaurant with a touch of rustic charm, State Street Provisions is today’s answer to the taverns that once offered respite to the fishermen and tradesmen who worked in Boston’s bustling Long Wharf. State Street Provisions is located at the intersection of State Street and Atlantic Avenue on Long Wharf, one of Boston’s most storied landmarks. Breaking ground in 1710, the Wharf was a vibrant hub for the Colonial U.S. shipping industry and originally extended nearly half a mile from the shoreline at Faneuil Hall.
Restaurant offering elevated American dishes, a raw bar, and regional craft beers in a pleasing, parlor-like setting.

My food was so delicious as we’re the mimosas!
Our server anticipated our needs and we barely had to ask for anything!
Great spot! Will be going here again!
The food quality was excellent, the pricing felt appropriate for what you get, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. What really stood out was how well everything came together: great service, great food, and fair prices.
Honestly, I enjoyed Provisions far more than other hyped Boston restaurants like Contesa and Saltie Girl. Provisions beat them on service, value, and consistency—without the attitude or inflated costs.
I’ll absolutely be back, and if you’re lucky enough to grab a seat at the bar, ask for Bailey.
