I’ve eaten here for years and always had good experiences until tonight. I was there with my family. My wife ordered pancakes which she felt were over cooked. When the waitress asked how everything came out, my wife said they looked over cooked and if they can be remade lighter. The waitress said no problem and takes them away.

Large portions and a wide variety of dessert choices. I couldn’t eat all of my food. I ended up bringing almost 3/4 of it back to our hotel. It was a lot. I do wish that I could ship some of that Brownie cheesecake back to the Midwest.

This is a typical diner right out of “central casting.” There are no pretenses anywhere in the restaurant. The best part of my meal was meeting and interacting with the staff. My service was great and I enjoyed everything about my late-night meal.

I got a spinach and bacon cheese, omelette and was really surprised that it came out kind of flat and over cooked. I expect my omelettes to be nice and fluffy. Also, they charged me for the salsa.
