It’s amazing how two establishments under the same ownership can be completely different experiences on the same night. After a poor experience 10 miles east due to loud music (not the first time we’ve had that problem there) and a wild bachelorette party that had the waitresses’ full attention, we left before ordering and decided to come over to State Line. It was a much more enjoyable, relaxed experience where you didn’t have to scream at your neighbor, and the food was great too! And what’s funny is that there was also a bachelorette party a couple tables down here but you could hardly notice it.

The service was very, very slow. Our food was good but we spent nearly two hours waiting. We had to ask for drinks, lettuce at the salad bar, silverware, and the kids never did get plates for pizza. We were overcharged twice for something we did not order (after the first correction, they added another second item we did not order/receive).

The quality and quantity of the food more than made up for the slow service. Hands down, some of the best food I have had since moving here a few years ago. If I wanted to be cliche, I would say “Two thumbs up”

If you’re into a roadhouse atmosphere this is the place. Assumed this was more “steakhouse” but it’s not. Ordered ribeye medium and it was definitely on the well done side. The side potato was it’s own meal if you order french fries. Definitely a one time place for me.

Great Neighborhood Family Sports Bar! They make the best pizza and have an extensive snack and burger menu! The owners and management are sports fans and support all regional teams. The entire staff is eager to serve and will make you feel like family in no time at all. There is also a casino and pull tabs if you are interested and an ATM is on the premises. Best in the area!

Worst experience we’ve ever had at a restaurant/bar/grill/steakhouse…. Service was terrible! It took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get our food. We ordered cheeseballs as an appetizer, a French dip sandwich with fries and ranch and a fish sandwich with fries. 1 hour and 45 minutes for that. Never got our cheeseballs asked for ranch twice more, our waitress checked on us maybe 3 times. Kept saying how “busy it was and how slammed it was”, it was not. She then proceeded to have a 10 minute conversation with a table next to us after I asked for ranch for the 3rd time. A Group of five people walked in about 15 min after us and went and sat on the steakhouse side. And they left about 10 minutes before we did, I’m not sure if they even got food, or if they got their food and then left. they didn’t look or sound too happy when they were walking out though. The phone rang a total of 4 times, There was less than 20 people in the bar side and there was about six/seven tables that were empty on the steakhouse side. They had three bartenders/waitresses on the bar side. Plus more waitresses for the steakhouse. The older lady working came up to us and was saying phrases that didn’t make sense and had nothing to do with the food or the conversation. Super uncomfortable. She did say; “ha ha wait an hour and 45 minutes just to eat it in five”. She was not wrong. I wouldn’t be as upset if our food was actually decent, but it wasn’t…The French dip sandwich, which is a hoagie, shaved beef roast, and a slice of cheese. Was cold, so I’m sure it was sitting there for a while. It tasted like dirt so I couldn’t even eat it, I could FEEL the grit in my teeth. And not to forget I have been sick with food poisoning since we left! I was a waitress/bartender at a steakhouse for three years, and cannot believe the experience we had last night!
