We ordered takeout from this spot and were blown away! The food was flavorful, high-quality, and exceeded our expectations. We tried the fried rice, the beef wok combo, and the kung pao chicken–each dish was delicious and came with an egg roll that was absolutely phenomenal. The staff was friendly, the service was prompt, and the value was excellent. This will definitely be our go-to place whenever we’re craving Chinese food again!

Very reasonably priced and friendly service. It’s a bit run down inside and the bathroom was out of order. Food was ok, good portions but the flavor nothing to write home about. The General Tso chicken could’ve been spicier, the fried rice was pretty much rice cooked in some soy sauce and the egg roll despite being huge was mostly vegetables inside.

Okay boom, here’s my honest rating:
I ordered the fried rice, beef & broccoli, and orange chicken.
• Fried Rice: 8.5/10 — bomb
• Orange Chicken: 8/10 — great flavor, good texture
• Beef & Broccoli: 2/10 — unfortunately very slimy, a no-go for me
⭐ Overall: I would order again. I ordered through Uber Eats and the food arrived fresh and hot.

First time here, trying to find a great local spot after my move. The eggrolls? Heard so many good things but the filling was all cabbage. No other veggies and no flavor. They are BIG but I don’t think it’s good to store the pre rolled one’s on a cart, uncovered about 5 inches from the floor.
I ordered a Kung pao chicken combo with fried rice which was ok! Big portion, perfect spice level and crunchy veggies (not overcooked.)
The wor wonton soup made me sad. The broth didn’t have any flavor, but it did have a little protein in it.
It had about 4 fat wontons (the quart size.) The skin was overcooked, it broke off and floated in the soup. Not unheard of with this soup but usually they add the wontons before serving so that doesn’t happen. The veggies in the soup, mostly cabbage, a couple carrots, snow peas and a little zucchini, cooked well.
The place itself is old but clean. The smell of grease hits you when you walk in. The people working there are authentic and friendly.
I’m willing to give them another shot with some of my other favorite Chinese dishes and will edit my review then.
EDIT: I tried a few other places and went back to Star Wok today, about 3 months later. I really did not like it this time and will skip them from now on.
It was a pool of grease on the entree. Still crunchy veggies but little protein.
Got their hot and sour soup which somehow was greasy too. No depth of flavor in regards to “hot and sour.” It usually has a small amount of pork, bamboo shoots and mushrooms AT LEAST. The tofu was very plentiful though.
My takeaway…. huge portions for the price and especially for lunch. Food is cooked hot and fresh, nice people.

The food was delicious. The service was quick and friendly without compromising on quality. This was my first time in there. I tried the orange chicken combo and loved it. Portions were large, especially for the price. Little hole in the wall place with a great atmosphere. I’ll certainly be returning. I wasn’t able to find the menu online but they have some printed in the shop for you to take home. I’m including pictures of that for everyone else to reference

I visited star Wok Express and had an absolute great experience I really enjoyed the food I was able to sit down and relax the ladies that run this place have excellent customer service skills and really know how to treat their customers. The cooks are absolute culinary professionals cooking the food to delicious perfection everything in this restaurant was very clean the windows were shining and the floors were swept thank you starwok for having a great presentation definitely will be coming back..

I love this place, they can make any meal hot n spicy but their house egg foo young is amazing and the gravy is top tier!! Plus what we normally pay for 1 meal elsewhere, covered 2 full meals here!

I am an aficionado of small Chinese restaurants in every place I find myself. I ordered the usual fare; a sweet and sour chicken combo. With tax under 10 bucks.
Comparatively fast food charges the same and you get less tasty and nutritious food.
This food was outstanding and well beyond my capabilities to eat all of it. There was too much for a person of my size. That says something.
