Stumbled on this place on accident while driving and stopped for breakfast. Food was great, staff was extremely friendly. I had the biscuits and gravy with fried bologna on it and it was excellent! Never thought bologna in breakfast would be good but it was great. My kids had some breakfast sandwiches and they were all excellent as well. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth it!

The burger was below average. It just didn’t have any great anything, it had no special flavor, NOTHING. Asked for lettuce, tomato, mayo. It had 1 small leaf of lettuce, 1 paper thin slice of tomato (on 1 side of the burger). My onion rings tasted ok, but they had so much grease I thought of changing the oil in my car. We tried this place because we were passing by, next time we will just pass by.

Fried Bologna sandwich was fantastic. The cheese tots had a hint of jalapeños, which put them over the top.
Recommend marking parking spots or lanes. Not real sure where to park when you pull in off the road.

Cute little walk up and order at the window restaurant. Decided on the footlong hot dog all the way with tater tots. The hot dog was HUGE, slaw was really good and chili was excellent. Now, the tater tots…when I clearly can see the employee take a wrapped tray of tots out of the MICROWAVE, I’m not expecting much. They had been cooked well previously, but had sat so long they were soggy. Barely warm, just trash all around. If they can fix that issue, I’d order again.

We stopped for a quick lunch after hiking. The hot dog and tater tots were delish and hit the spot. This is a walk up and order counter with tables outside for seating. There is plenty of parking. The staff was friendly and service was quick.

Everything we had was as good as I could hope for. Chili dog? Delish. Barbecue? Best I’ve had in NC the last year. Tender and smoky. But the Onion rings? Never had better. Just exactly perfect.

Stopped by here for breakfast while in town for a long hike. I can’t describe with words how good the food is here- outstanding. Had a western omelette that was loaded with sausage, and a biscuit on the side. The price of the food is very reasonable, and the gals working there were very helpful and gave great service. Was also fun chatting with several of the locals, including Larry, who is a regular. Do yourself a favor and grab a bite here.
