Starving Artist offers a large variety of freshly made-to-order signature sandwiches and daily prepared specials including soup, sweets, sides. What a great experience! Incredible sandwiches, and very friendly staff. We came in from out of town and got our food to go to eat at Holsopple Brewery. The Jimmy Hendrix was ridiculous – the chipotle mayo will be burned into my memory forever. So delicious. My egg salad/pimento cheese/bacon sandwich was sooooo much buttery delicious goodness. The potato soup was clearly made from scratch and was beyond amazing. Next we are in Louisville there is no way I won’t be stopping here for some amazing food with a side of honest to goodness kindness.

The food here is delicious, however the grown woman that takes orders over the phone REALLY needs to work on her customer service skills. She was very rude and I felt as if I had bothered her when I placed my order over the phone. I takes zero effort to be kind.

This is the best weekday lunch spot in the area. They have a huge menu with artist and musician themed sandwiches, wonderful soaps, good chili and luscious salads. They also have fries and burgers for when you feel like you need something greasy. They have high quality food for reasonable prices. It’s always from scratch and amazing. The decor inside is adorable with some seriously positively groovy vibes. Only caveat is they only take cash, but there is a Chase ATM just down the street if you need some.
