Starvin’ Like Marvin was great! The whiting fish and shrimp were seasoned perfectly—full of flavor and cooked just right. The customer service was excellent. Bridgette and the rest of the team were wonderful hosts, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Marvin even came out himself and was friendly and personable, which made the experience even better.
Definitely stop by and support if you’re looking for great food and a great atmosphere!

I was excited to try this place since we were looking for fresh seafood and didn’t want to have to drive to far. The whole snapper was delicious, it was just what we were looking for. Be aware that it has the head, tail and back bones in to but it’s cooked just right so the meat comes right off. I highly recommend it, plus you know you are getting an actual snapper. The shrimp and wings were very good as well. The service seemed a little slow but everyone was very polite and I wouldn’t consider this a fast food place so I wouldn’t consider this a problem. I would have liked to see some more vegetable, salad or generally healthy options. Either way if you are looking for some good snapper and shrimp in Arlington then check them out.

This is a new location on North University Blvd in Jacksonville. Owner on site , same quality and same delicious food. More space and very nice, great for families and large parties. Parking is free and abundant.

Red Lobster who?The Food this guy is serving is Top tier,Fresh,absolutely delicious!My hubby and I love the Whiting, but the Snapper ,we’ve brought mom and The In-laws..He do not cut corners,he put his heart n soul in what he delivers to his customers. You can’t find this anywhere else in Jacksonville…Him and his wife are so pleasant..Support and show love..

This was my first visit the new location and I had the worst experience ever. They took forever to take your order, your order took forever to come to your table, you could not taste the seasoning, the oyster was cold and not seasoned good, and the chicken wings was cook hard with no seasoning, and waitress keep forgetting to bring the rest of my order out. You had to go to the bar to get an adult drink. If you don’t make reservations you will have to get in where you fit in. They did offer take outs on this day. The parking was out of control because people was blocking others in and parking illegal. The communication with staff members was not a good look. I thought it was going to be like the one downtown just with music but I feel like this new location is designed for the younger adults with all the twerking going on. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location anymore.
