The food was good, but I was disappointed by the restaurant’s strict no-substitution policy. I visited on a Saturday morning for breakfast and asked if they had turkey bacon, but the server told me they did not, which I understood. However, when I asked if I could substitute something else in its place, I was informed that substitutions were not allowed on anything, and the server couldn’t explain why.
This seemed unnecessarily rigid, especially considering that some people may not eat pork for religious or dietary reasons. It would have been nice if they had at least offered an alternative, such as fresh fruit or another protein option. The lack of flexibility made the dining experience feel a bit unwelcoming.
That being said, the food itself was decent. The chicken fried steak, for example, was flavorful and cooked well, though not the best I’ve had. However, the French toast was underwhelming—it seemed like it was just dipped in batter and quickly fried, making it very basic and lacking the richness or depth of flavor that good French toast should have.
Overall, while the food was passable, the lack of menu flexibility and unwillingness to accommodate simple requests left a negative impression. I’m not sure if I’d return, especially when there are other breakfast spots that offer both good food and better customer service.

My mother and I go for the wonderful taco omelets! The flavor, the cheese taco meat and the best hash browns in town. It is always busy but you are not neglected by the staff! Your coffee cup is always full and the waitresses are king. Polite and extremely friendly. Try it, I swear you will love it! Other diners instantly become your friends. There has never been a want for table and they let you choose where you want to sit. My husband enjoys the food and atmosphere. He has never ordered the same thing and is always happy with his choice. I always recommend it to new neighbors! Their prices are so reasonable that it makes your pocketbook happy! We go at at least once a month if our schedules allow.

Full & happy. Best diner in the SEATAC area. Fast service and the servers are fun & witty. The atmosphere is exactly as it should be – all American, classic, old school. Everyone is tossing friendly banter back and forth. They have one of the best burgers and some of the best potato salad I’ve ever had. Food is fresh, delicious, great quality and VERY reasonably priced. I spent about $14 less here than I did at a different diner I tried out recently, and the food was way better here. And they don’t play with the bottomless coffee. I’m convinced they’d keep filling my cup until I drop dead LOL. Which is how it should be. My dad and I used to go on little daddy-daughter diner dates when I was younger, and it’s one of our favorite memories. We now live many states apart and away from our favorite diner from our hometown but this was the closest I could get to that nostalgia. This diner is about more than food – it’s about having a little fun & being free-spirited. This is what an American diner is all about! Thanks and I’ll be back.
P.s. The burger was so good I didn’t even think to take a pic until it was almost completely destroyed. Proof that it was in fact delicious. I assaulted the potato salad shortly after I took these photos.

Better than any Denny’s or IHOP. One of those spots where guests still chat with each other nowadays. Stopped here between work meeting – the staff were very welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast all day and decent coffee. Coming back next time I’m in the area!

Wife and I were told to sit where we wanted. We found a table then waited. I took about 10 minutes for a waitress to remove a used coffee cup then another 5 minutes to get a menu. It took another 10 minutes before our order was taken. We noticed that in the time from when we walked in till we got our food, 3 other groups came in, ordered and received their food. A different waitress asked us if we wanted carry out containers, we said yes then didn’t see her again. We asked our original waitress for the containers, we got those after she helped others. We figured that the 55 minutes we were in this place, we waited about 30 minutes, and this does not include the time we waited for our food after ordering. We figure we now have 2 options. The first is never patronize this place again. The second is eat there at least once a week and become a “regular customer and they know our names, so we don’t have to wait anymore”. We haven’t decided yet.

We (my partner and I) were looking for a cozy local place to get breakfast on a Sunday and I’m so glad we picked this place. Parking was easy, no line to wait, wonderul service, great food and fair prices. I had a veggie omelet with tuna, sourdough toast and coffee. My partner had a veggie omelet too but with sour cream on top. We’re new to being pescatarian so having breakfast without meat is a new experience. Our server made a special request to put tuna in the veggie omelet and I highly recommend it! So good. The portion sizes were big and the coffee was always getting topped off. We love it.. if you can, bring in a coloring book and some crayons to donate to the restaurant.

This was my favorite place to eat while visiting Auburn WA! The staff is very, very friendly!! I tried their breakfast, lunch and dinner items and I was never disappointed. If you want to have a great meal surrounded by nice people, this is the place to go. I hope I get to visit again. BTW, Sam is one of the sweetest waitresses there. She always greeted us with a smile and warm welcome!

Omelette and hash browns needed a bit of seasoning added. A touch of salt, at least, needs to be added during cooking. Adding it at the table just makes it…..salty.
Service: It is very apparent that “regulars” get service first, get their food faster, get over the top attention, to the detriment of other patrons.
This was probably our 3rd visit in as many years. We don’t eat out a lot. The first time we thought the service was a fluke. The 2nd time it was “hmmm”. This time was our last. ALL customers should receive the same degree of service and attention.
