Extensive breakfast menu and large portions in a friendly atmosphere! Extremely welcoming owner offered us a variety of homemade breads and pastries, all of them great options. Blueberry muffin was outstanding, rhubarb-strawberry butter was amazing on the griddle-toasted sourdough and hash was the best I’ve tried in ages.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Stars and Stripes Diner, and we can confidently say it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and friendliness. The food was nothing short of delicious, especially the waffle with fresh strawberries which was perfectly crisp and fluffy, along with the assortment of homemade sourdough toast that was rich in flavor and toasted to perfection.
What really made this visit unforgettable, though, was the chef Wanda. She went above and beyond in every way. Not only did she prepare the most amazing food, but she also took the time to share some incredible tips and even a few recipes for sourdough bread and discard starter banana and corn bread. Her passion for cooking was evident in every bite, and it really made the experience feel personal and special.
If you’re looking for a place where the food is top notch and the service is exceptional, Stars and Stripes is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

Delicious for every time! The Bickford Benedict is SO good. Overall great breakfast and even greater people. I realized too late that I had no cash and no debit card to get cash. They kindly said not to worry about it and enjoy my breakfast. I’ll be back with cash tomorrow!

I went this weekend and had there special chicken and waffles with hot honey and blueberry’s. It was so delicious and everyone was wonderful and gave excellent service. The atmosphere is for all family, friends . I really enjoyed just looking around and admiring the walls that were all dedicated to all the people that have served or are serving.

This is the BEST breakfast and lunch place anywhere! Food is delicious and portions are generous. Definitely try any of the daily specials. The Fall Northeast Quarter has pumpkin seeds, maple butternut squash, carrots, Brussels sprouts and dried cranberries with egg. Seriously delicious. Relaxing hometown feel and all staff are super friendly. Worth a trip from anywhere.

Small little diner. Staff is friendly. Food is really good. I got the Red zone Bowl-Crispy tater tots , topped with taco hamburger , scrambled eggs, tomatoes, cheese, housemade salsa, sourcream, cheese sauce served with grilled housemade taco sourdough and my better half got Huddle Plate- Teriyaki
Chicken thighs, eggs your way, HF, Pretzel bites(from Giacomo’s) with cheese sauce. Delicious. Highly recommend stopping by this diner.
