A beautiful location for a beautiful dinner. We came here as our “special night out” while on vacation, and it did not disappoint. While the food is expensive, the presentation and execution of each dish was done so carefully and thoughtfully. My husband had the salmon, and even though it wasn’t something he would necessarily order again, he was still over the moon with the entire dinner. It should be noted that our server, Jacob, was the best server either of us ever had. He was thoughtful and patient, and added an extra layer of sophistication to the evening. In fact, it was the same with the entire staff we encountered. The hostess was quick and attentive to seat us as walk-ins on a busy Saturday evening, and our food runners were all courteous and attentive to details as well. The valet parking attendants were phenomenal as well! It was pouring rain when we walked out and that young man stood by the door the entire time to get me and my husband in our vehicle. I will remember extra cash just for this next time even though it is complimentary! All in all- you will spend $$$ but you will feel fantastic while doing so!

An impeccable restaurant under the direction of Chef Gregory James. We came here for my wife’s birthday dinner. We were treated to a delightful prix fixe dinner in which every single detail was executed to perfection. This is truly a five star dining experience without the overpriced stuffiness of nearby award winning restaurants. Service was attentive and worthy of special note. The location can only be described as idyllic and breathtaking. A perfect evening indeed!

Love going to Stars on a beautiful weekend and grabbing brunch outdoors. Such a gorgeous setting, friendly staff, and relaxing views. After brunch, we stay a bit later and do a toast with everyone before heading back home. Great memories and big cheers to many more.

My fiancé and I came to STARS for a dinner during our baby moon and we had a fantastic experience. Jacob made us feel welcome and was attentive to all our needs. He made note of one food item that might not be something my lovely pregnant wife-to-be would want to indulge in, and assured us the rest of the menu was safe for her to eat. I know their menu changes daily but wow, the milk bread was heavenly, and I have never had shrimp, halibut or octopus cooked as well as their kitchen did. I wish I took note of everyone’s name as they were all delightful and made our night so special, but I was distracted by how good the food was and my beautiful partner.

The breakfast was unimpressive, honestly I’d recommend walking into town instead. The coffee was outright not good, and the food both days was just okay. I would be giving the place a 4 star if not for the second paragraph here. If you’re staying here and looking for breakfast, head over to The Blue Crab or Sprouts instead.
All that being said, the dinner was simply outstanding, one of the best meals I’ve had in years. The service is impeccable, the menu was fantastic and creative, the course layout was impeccable, the service was fantastic, the wine list was good, if not outstanding, and covered a ton of ground. The ambiance was terrific, if a hair stuffy, and the views are spectacular.

Picked up food off of the Purser’s Pub menu to go for dinner. There is nothing like Chef Ken MacDonald’s 4 star food especially if you can turn it into a picnic with someone special. We had the pork chop which was AMAZING, the highly recommended steak sandwich, and fries. Our eyes were larger than our stomach.
