Restaurant Review: Delicious, Warm, and… Financially Devastating
The food here is absolutely delicious, and the service is warm and attentive. The only downside is the price — but to be fair, that’s not really the restaurant’s fault… I’m just broke.
The yakitori skewers were the highlight of the meal — flavorful, juicy, and perfectly grilled. If I ever come back, I’ll definitely order two servings.
The seafood pancake was also great, especially with the addition of bonito flakes. If the kitchen forgets to add them, make sure to ask — after all, it’s a $28 dish. The pancake is about 12 inches wide, with around 6 inches in the center that actually have seafood — mostly bits of squid and small shrimp.
The tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette) was over $20, which felt a bit overpriced considering it’s basically just eggs — with some chopped onion mixed in for texture and flavor, but still.
The two of us (two women) spent $82 before tip and were left with half a pancake by the end. If, like me, you find this place a bit too expensive, you can go for the $70 set meal for two. Just know that you’ll be giving up your freedom to choose dishes — the chef decides what you eat.
If you want to keep your freedom, you’ll just have to pay the price — literally.
One last thing: there’s a karaoke room inside the restaurant, and the door was frequently left open as staff and guests came and went. The off-key singing drifting into the dining area was a bit distracting and did affect the dining atmosphere.

Food might seem a little pricey but the portions are huge! Everything is great for sharing and the food is delicious. The drinks are also very well priced and definitely one of the cheaper places for drinks in the area!

I’d give this a mid 3… the prices here are abnormally higher than normal places around that serve the similar portion and menu. $20 for a shrimp tempura roll??? That is ridiculous .
The service on the other hands is great . But won’t be coming back. They need to review their prices. And I don’t see many people at this place , could be the reason

Starry Night in Chantilly delivers big flavor and great service. The staff was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The spicy pork belly was the star—crispy, tender, and coated in a perfectly balanced sweet-heat glaze. A must-try spot for bold Asian-inspired dishes and a welcoming vibe.

This place just opened, so we had to give it a try. They offer a really great happy hour special, with a beer and choice of three small plates for $15. The best part is that special runs from 5-8 in the evening! The rest of the menu consists mainly of small plates and skewers meant to be shared. The food was very tasty and paired will with the Korean beer I had. It is a new place, and I think they are still trying to figure out their vibe a bit. The decor is a bit sparse. We were seated on the side of the restaurant where there was a strobe light blinking throughout the meal that got a bit annoying. The servers were great, friendly and prompt with the food and drinks. Beyond just the happy hour special, the food was priced reasonably as well. Overall, this is definitely a fun place to check out, maybe more so for a group of friends than a date night.

I think of you looking for a cafe and a place to chill with friends. I think this place is good, but if you’re looking for food, I don’t think they do a good job with it. The price is higher than other places. I ordered pork fried rice, but they gave me bacon instead of pork. They should have said bacon instead of offering pork, beef, or shrimp as options. I would give the food 5/10 and the drink 7/10. The drinks and fun are good, but not the food. It’s more like a cafe where you can hang out with friends and listen to music. Also, they play music from Spotify or YouTube, but they didn’t pay for premium, so every ten minutes, there are advertisements. I understand the owner trying to save money, but you should be more professional and let customers enjoy music without advertisements.

Came here with a big group, and everything was amazing! The service was super quick, even with all of us ordering a ton of food. The mackerel was insanely good—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Definitely a must-try. The karaoke rooms were also really clean, and the sound quality was on point, which made the whole experience even better. Coming back asap!

Really fun spot that’s open late, which is hard to find in the suburbs. Super friendly service. Good food. There weren’t many people there when we went and it was pretty loud. Lots of hard surfaces. Plenty of parking.

Came here to celebrate some friends’ birthdays and was not impressed. We did come on a Thursday around 8pm, so I didn’t expect it to be super busy, but we were the ONLY people in there. The complimentary popcorn they served was stale. We ordered the ramen, dumplings, and karaage – ramen was basic, I personally didn’t try the dumplings, and the karaage was awful (not sure you can even call it karaage, it tasted like chinese take-out style chicken). We also got a few drinks, my mojito was just pure mint juice and ice. Our total bill was around $200 pre-tip for three dishes, four cocktails, and 2 bottles of terra and soju. It’s a cute place, just very overpriced and underwhelming.
