I didn’t eat here, just stopped in for some drinks. Good drinks with rotating specials from 4 to midnight and $4 Patron tequila shots from 9:30 to 10:30. This place is very lively, busy, on weekends and would not be for everybody but I enjoyed it.

Okay, let me start off with this… I have recently lost a parent. We all know how tough that is mentally and emotionally. Me and my sister in-law were going to a comedy show, to have fun and get the rough stuff off our minds. We stop in The Starlight to have a couple beers before the show. She went to the bathroom and I sat at the bar. Long hair bartender saw me and ignored me for a solid 10 minutes. Finally walks up and says, ID. No “can I see your ID”. Fine. I love that anyway. I am gettin old. lol. So he takes our IDs. Cool. He doesn’t ask what we want, he just looks at us in disgust. We said what we’d like. He was very visibly disgusted and mad at us. Puts the drinks down and tells us how much we owe. I said here is my card, can you hang onto it, we are planning to get one more. The eye roll, and the walk off. We were beyond nice to him. In fact, I’ve been a bartender probably longer than he’s been alive, so I understand a hard day at the bar. Bartending can be super stress filled. The bar was empty. Sometimes when you’re stressed out, you prefer that. Or maybe he was mad because there was no one there. With that attitude, it makes sense. AnyWho, he was completely nasty. The rest of the time we were there he was mocking us when we were saying certain things in our conversation. Woah dude. I am in a new era of my life. That meaning, last year I would’ve completely went off on him, but I’m a changed woman. So a couple of dudes came in after us, and he was insanely rude to them as well. He was a nice as he could be to guy who he apparently knew, so I know he had it in him. I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a bartender. I am a person who will tip 50% and I’m not exaggerating when I say that. Blah blah on that. Whatever, everyone says that. So we left after one beer. I’m completely blown away, still the next day.
I am a brand ambassador for a local beer & liquor company, so I’m still in the business.
AnyWho again. This has been like writing an Essay.
I just thought the owner/management should know the extent of his complete lack of respect and nastiness of a fellow human. The older I get, the more I realize none of us know what other people are going through. Being nasty and disrespectful means there’s something wrong in your own life. I hope he figures himself out. ✌

We stopped by there for 1 drink at the snow storm day.
Not busy and quiet. Service and drink were ok… But a server accepted an order at the bar from a guy without a mask like her regular routine…
Maybe we more worried Covid thing since we live in Seattle.

Good gambling machines, drinks are good, only one bar tender so sometimes it’s a wait to get service.

Cute lights throughout the bar. The espresso martini was good. The bartender was rude. Poor first, and only, impression.

They were closed when we arrived, we went to another bar almost next door. We came back later and had a good time… I think, I really don’t remember?

The starlight has a great chill atmosphere. I love being able to play board games while I’m drinking with friends. The bartenders have all been super friendly and the drinks great.
