Stark’s Pub offers a one-of-a-kind family dining experience you won’t find anywhere else in the Mad River Valley. The Pub is open daily during the winter from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM—whenever the mountain is open for skiing. In the off-season Stark’s Pub is open from Memorial Day through peak foliage in October with dinner service Wednesday through Saturday from 4:30 to 8:30 PM. In the warmer months, enjoy stunning mountain views while dining al fresco on the deck or from the comfort of our cozy indoor seating. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with yard games for the kids, scenic hiking trails just steps away, and a babbling brook to complete the setting.

What do you say? An epic ski area can only create an epic Pub. We did our first ever brunch. French Toast and beer, just can’t be beat!!!

The French Toast is yummy. Perfect texture, just enough sweetness. Washed down with a Lawsons Sip of Sunshine.

Captured ourselves bunching on the MadCam for the fun of it!!!

Mad River Glen and the General Stark Pub are unique places. My wife and dined there on Oct 10 and got the fish fry coupled with the fried green beans. All good. Our server Amy was great. Next time I’ll try to teach her cribbage. We make a point to go to the pub every time we’re at MRG.

Cool pub/lodge/deck atmosphere with lawn games to entertain. The kicker? Too expensive for what it is. The margarita was $16 and the kids grill cheese was $15, plus $2 for fries. We left having two kids meals and two adult briskets plus one drink for $126 with a tip. Something doesn’t add up….

Great, classic apres scene but the food is just mediocre. Limited kids options and little in the way of vegetarian or gluten free. If you want a straight up burger and fries and a PBR this is your place. Beyond that, there are many better options in the valley.

Easy, great beer selections from Lawson’s, simple pub fare that tastes good. A great option after a hike in the area or a ski day.

Simple easy menu, fresh ingredients, cold beer. But that ain’t what you come here for. It’s the view, the vibe, the feel. Grab a picnic table on the deck and a beer, if you get it you get it.

Food is mediocre and the service as well. Was given food that was not ours. Lots of folks bringing their screaming toddlers and kids. Hard pass.
