Normally when you’re having a rough day, a nice cup of coffee is a good fix. I started my day with my normal drip coffee, normally I stay and work for a bit but I had to run my kids backpack to him and ended up at this store rather than down the road. I walked in with my almost gone cup and politely took asked for a refill after thanking a Nam Vet for his service as he walked in… That’s when I was greeted by Matt He abruptly asked if I was in here earlier, I said no I was in 27th and he scoffed at me…I said, I can pay for it I just wanted a refill. He charged me full price and gave me my coffee. It was early release for my son, so I picked him up and went back for my refill. Matt was still there…I said hi and again politely asked for a refill. He asked if I had left, and agreed that I picked up my son. He again scoffed at me and said refills weren’t available if you leave but said he’d do it this one time…he over filled the cup, put a new top on and went back to work. The top popped off as soon as I set it in the truck and went right into my business cards and center console I stayed in the parking lot contemplating Wilding out , I prayed and let it go. When I got in my truck this morning, aside from the coffee smell, I looked at the cup again. I honestly feel like he did that on purpose and after coming here for over 14 years, I don’t think I’ll stop at this one again. In over 20 years, I’ve never felt this feeling after leaving a Starbucks.

Not sure if it was accidental or intentional, but $5 gratuity was added to our drive thru order. My husband tapped his card and I looked over and saw the total was clearly off. We had another 4 hour drive ahead of us and didn’t have time to go back to figure it out. We had planned to tip, but the added total that we didn’t choose or agree to was frustrating.

I used to go up there every day for years, and drink coffee with friends. I won’t go anymore because all the songs were being played in Spanish, and I don’t understand Spanish. Very sad that the English speaking customers are leaving..

I decided to give this location a second chance. Today assured me this has got to be the worst starbucks location in Tri-Cities. I was the only one in the drive through and after handing me my drink the girl at the window started shutting the window saying bye. I had also ordered food. After the food was given by another worker, I took a sip of my drink which was made wrong. She then grabbed my drink and said I guess I can remake this for you. She was visibly annoyed that I spoke up about how it wasn’t made without lemonade. She rolled her eyes, did not apologize, gave zero eye contact and packed my drink with so much ice. I’m disappointed Starbucks has employees like this representing them here at this location. It’s very sad the lack of customer service here. Will not be going here again and will make sure others are aware to go anywhere else but here.
