When I handed her my gift card to pay, she looked at me strangely and asked, “What is this?” I told her it was a gift card, yet the way she looked at me was dismissive and disrespectful. My total was $23, and the card had $10 on it. After applying the card, I asked why the total was still $23. Instead of checking with another barista, she snapped back with, “Just say so!” Her tone and attitude were completely unprofessional and left me shocked.
Another kind employee stepped in and explained that she was new and had not applied the gift card correctly, and even apologized for her mistake. But the apology should have come from Irem herself. A customer should never be made to feel disrespected or looked down upon, regardless of whether an employee is in training.
I truly hope Starbucks takes this seriously and provides her with proper training on not only transactions, but also basic respect and professionalism. This was by far the most unpleasant Starbucks experience I’ve ever had.
My coffee was made horribly twice. Lol the first time there was 0 pumps of white chocolate and Sydney said that she put some in but that’s why they are remaking it with intense attitude. Then she remade it with attitude and it still tastes way off. I think she didn’t put the quad shot in that I paid for. Regardless the reason I’m leaving a 1 star review is Sydney’s argumentative attitude and horrible customer service.
I did notice that the printable order stickers that you put on the cup doesn’t print the full thing the whole left side isn’t printed so anything with numbers is a guess and this might be an issue with why it is so inconsistent.
