A few examples include:
1. Ordering an Impossible breakfast sandwich but receiving a pork sausage breakfast sandwich instead.
2. Multiple sausage cheddar sandwiches arriving with a cool, wet center.
3. Three separate occasions of extra large iced teas arriving with no ice, despite “iced” being part of the order and the drinks being delivered during 90°+ weather.
4. Several “Hot” Americanos arriving lukewarm.
5. A chocolate croissant arriving as a brownie.
6. Repeated chocolate croissant ordered “not warmed” arriving warmed.
I have had to request multiple refunds from DoorDash in just the last month because of repeated mistakes from this store, which is both frustrating and time-consuming. On a couple of occasions, I called the store before my order was delivered and asked the manager to confirm that ice had been added to my “iced tea”. On one of those occasions she told me she could not leave her station to check, which was dismissive given the repeated problems.
Between my own orders and those placed for friends and family, I likely spend $400 or more per month at Starbucks. This ongoing pattern of incorrect or poorly prepared orders, combined with the lack of responsiveness when concerns are raised, does not reflect the level of service expected from Starbucks. It also discourages continued patronage, as customers have no confidence their order will be correct.
At this point, it’s difficult not to wonder whether these repeated mistakes are personal or simply a sign that this store does not take customer orders seriously. Either way, the frequency of errors makes it clear that my business is not respected or valued here, and I will be taking it elsewhere.
