I stopped by this Starbucks and had a great experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly, the service was fast, and my order came out exactly the way I wanted it. The store was clean, the seating area was well maintained, and the atmosphere was perfect for taking a quick break. quick stop for breakfast sandwich coffee and snacks for my daughter. im pretty sure they forgot about my sandwich but they found it. we were in there for probably like 10 minutes total so it worked out.

I want to like this location because it’s the closest to my house but they get my order wrong every single time. This morning they remade my drink wrong not once but twice and the shift manager was inside complaining about how the drive through was backed up because they had to remake my drink so I ended up parking and going inside for them to get it right.

I ordered my drink with “light heavy cream” and they try to ring it in as 1/2″ and make my drink with so much cream I can’t taste any coffee. They tell me to order just a splash and if I do, it ends up with no cream. Even when I go in and try to help the employee get it right they keep pouring cream after I say to stop.

If the employees were pleasant, I wouldn’t mind the extra time to get my drink correct but the manager and employees are more concerned about getting the drive through clear than the customer experience. I will go out of my way to go to a different location so I can have a better experience and quality of beverage.

The indoor fireplace makes this Starbucks special- cozy when it is cold out side. The restrooms are clean.

I ordered a drink for a personal cup and the barista made the drink in a plastic cup, dumped it in my personal cup, then threw away the plastic cup. Isn’t the point of a personal cup to cut down on waste? This doesn’t make sense.

I visited the Burien Starbucks today, at 15838 1st Ave Burien WA. Currently they have indoor sitting, but may change if the Phase roll back happens, with the Covid numbers changing up and down. It was nice to see so many taking the advantage to come in and get a hot or cold drink. Also have a very nice out side sitting area as well. Even Umbrella’s for those who don’t like to sit in the direct sun. I had one of there new drinks a “Iced Chocolate Almond milk Espresso.” Was refreshing and not overly sweet. Staff is friendly and they do have a drive-though there as well. And just the right amount of Ice in drink, so not watered down. So I was paying for the drink and not a lot of ice. Keep up the good work!

I was the only customer at the counter — no one else was waiting for drinks, everyone inside was seated, and there didn’t appear to be anyone in the drive-thru. There were four employees, yet no one greeted me. The only gentleman, who I assume handled the register, was on a phone call, and one woman intentionally ignored me until I asked for the restroom code. This location does not meet the customer service standards I’ve experienced at Starbucks across the U.S.

The morning staff is always super helpful and fast! Unfortunately the evening staff is not so much that. As you can see this is how they filled up my drink. I’m not really sure if I did something to get on the bad side of the barista but I honestly couldn’t even get him to look up at me so I could thank him. No calling out of the name just “HERE”, no eye contact or anything. I tried the drink and it was incredibly sweet, it was the pineapple refresher and I had to ask for more water to be added, which the barista responded by asking me if I wanted a cup of water, anyway. Bad bad interaction, I only come here in the day time and will not be back in the afternoon ever again to deal with all these spoiled, bad mannered brats! The barista at the register incredibly sweet. I wish I caught their name!

I came here in the morning for something delicious to drink and a croissant bacon egg sandwich. When you walk in the place it’s very relaxed, laid back, and very comfortable. I went to go order my things and the lady was just staring right through me and didn’t even say hello or good morning. She just stared through me and looked miserable. I ordered my food and she looked like it was a burden to take my order. I went inside because the drive-thru was so long. But then after I finally got my order taken, it took 15 minutes to get my order.
By the time I got my order, they messed my coffee and my chai tea latte. Then they remade my chai tea latte and gave me my sandwiches, and I drove on my way to class. When I opened the bag to eat my sandwich, they had given me the completely wrong sandwich. It was not a croissant. The sandwich tasted horrible, not fresh at all. I couldn’t go back because I was going to be late to class. So I started drinking my chai tea latte; and it was no froth to it. It was horrible and flat, tasted like water with flavor in it. I was so aggravated because I love Starbucks and have never had an issue with the other ones that I go to so far.
I will only go back to this one if I need to on my way to work or class. Other than that, from this one time of trying to grab a simple drink and sandwich, it was not worth going to or paying the money for the food or drink. I wasted my valuable time and money and will not be going back unless I absolutely need to, or if I want to give them a chance and see if they do better.
