I placed a mobile order for 2 drinks and a grilled cheese sandwich. Went to the drive-thru and as we were heading home I asked my daughter why she wasn’t eating. She said there’s a stick in my sandwich.
I take it from her and look inside and there was a wooden knife with cinnamon and other food sticking out of the sandwich. I’m not sure if someone was eating while preparing/heating up her sandwich but I do know that it was alarming and unhygienic.
I was so upset, called 3 times only for the phone to continously ring and then drop. By the time I was back in the drive-thru, someone picked up. I declined a refund because it was so upsetting.

I have seen a major improvement in hospitality and service since!!
I’m raising my 4 stars to 5 today in new 2020 decade!! Management & staff seem to really care and be quite happy here and sure makes a difference. ( A rough start… I’m sure a lot of pressure running a new store!)
I use Starbucks a lot to earn the benefits and because I own stock! (Seems to be great world wide business!) Seems drive through & mobile orders always seem faster than counter service! So i even started doing mobile orders!!

Everyone here is very nice and friendly. I’ve never had an issue with service or them ever messing up an order and everything is usually pretty quick. No ridiculous waits at the drive thru. But, they’re always “out of” specialty or seasonal drink stuff. They didn’t have pumpkin spice all fall, couldn’t make a lot of the Holiday drinks around Christmas, and never have the new or temporary drinks. I think they just don’t want to order the stuff or bother with it. It’s unfortunate because this is the closest one to my house. I sometimes wait until I’m near work in lahaina and go to that one, or just go to the Coffee Bean across the street.

I’m so impressed with the excellent customer service, especially from Kaelyn. Every time I’ve come in this location and she’s working, I know that I will get my order right and with a friendly personality. She takes time to help the customers. She should definitely be “Employee of the Month/ Year”!
