After visiting today, I have to say that I’m a fan of the Starbucks location on Auburn Folsom Rd in Granite Bay. As soon as you walk in, you notice how bright and airy it is, with high ceilings that make the space feel open and welcoming.
The entire cafe is super clean – it’s clear the staff work very hard to keep the place nice and to deliver friendly and excellent service. Our drinks were perfectly made too.
The only ding from a perfect review is that I’m not a fan of the food. A lot of it seems pre-made and overly processed instead of freshly prepared, but that’s on the corp, not this store.
I look forward to visiting this Starbucks again. It has a vibrant yet relaxing atmosphere with an abundance of natural light, which really makes a difference compared to other cafes with lower ceilings that can feel dark and cramped. I left feeling refreshed and productive, and it wasn’t just the coffee that made me feel perky.
So if you’re looking for a bright, clean, friendly Starbucks with great customer service, I highly recommend the location on Auburn Folsom Rd in Granite Bay!

I didn’t realize that when i order a normal grande drink that i was actually ordering a cup of ice. They filled my cup so much with ice that i got like 5-7 sips of my drink. Waste of my money will not be getting starbucks anymore because of this shop. Absolutely pissed when i looked down to my drink completely filled with ice.

I had a really frustrating experience at this Starbucks due to poor customer service and multiple mistakes with my drink. I ordered my drink with half pumps, which didn’t seem to be understood from the start. When I politely double-checked the order, I was reassured it was correct but it was still made wrong.
What made it especially disappointing is that I am also a Starbucks partner, and the service I received did not reflect Green Apron service at all. When I tried to clarify or get the issue fixed, the interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional instead of supportive and solution-oriented.
I understand mistakes happen, but clear communication, respect, and a willingness to correct errors are basic expectations especially within our own company. Overall, this visit did not meet Starbucks standards and left me really disappointed.

This Starbucks on Auburn Folsom and Douglas is impressive! Its the newest location and has great service and room to sit and enjoy your drink and pastry, or a great place to stop before going for a walk around Folsom lake. I chose the pistachio latte which did not disappoint!
