I am writing to share a concern regarding a recent experience at your Starbucks.

My husband and I stopped in for coffee while returning from a long road trip. When placing my order at the counter, I was in the process of taking out my credit card to pay and politely asked the barista for the restroom code. The employee responded that she would provide the code only after I paid. I found this response surprising, as I was clearly about to complete my purchase.

What made the situation more concerning was what occurred shortly afterward. While we were waiting for our beverages, a teenager and an adult entered the store and asked for the restroom code before approaching the counter or making any purchase. They were given the code immediately, without hesitation.

This inconsistency in treatment was upsetting and left me feeling uncomfortable. While I do not want to make assumptions, the interaction caused me to feel that my race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or all three may have influenced the employee’s demeanor and decision, which came across as condescending and unwelcoming.

More importantly, this is about message verses delivery.

I have always associated Starbucks with inclusivity and respectful customer service, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. I wanted to bring this to your attention so it can be reviewed and addressed appropriately.

!Bad Experience, i ordered iced berry caramel protein matcha and iced caramel dubai protein matcha , im regular customer also not there but i m , first all when i did order drive thru i told too many time dubai iced caramel protein matcha he didn’t understand and he putted on white matcha after just headed to window , then i told him repeated my ordered he said white mocha again i told him dubai 4 time after that i got it then he made it , but I’m mad when we drink the coffee its taste nasty , if they don’t know how to make it right why don’t change employees and why did u guys insult the starbucks , last i suggest to all customers order from another starbucks location.

Line for drive through is long & out of the parking lot, on Benjamin Holt Dr. The outside barista taking orders does not allow cars to move forward to available space in the drive through line, blocking cars that want to park inside the parking lot. Service was awful compared to other Starbucks. Not a single barista greeted me or acknowledged me. I will visit other Starbucks locations.

Finding The Force
The location is right off the freeway and very convenient. Right next to lumberjacks restaurant. This coffee shop is very clean with friendly staff which is what we are used to from the most popular coffee chain in the world. They have a drive-through and a great selection of drinks and food.
Warning: bathrooms require a code from the cashier. There’s also a sign on the front door asking the customers wear masks. Plenty of outdoor seating if you enjoy the rumbling sound of the car is driving on the freeway.

I placed an order for DoorDash PICK UP and the store was refusing to give me a drink saying I needed to be a DoorDash employee to PICK UP my order. It was for PICK UP not delivery. I was told “why did I place my order through DoorDash it’s more expensive and to order through the app”… ok I had a coupon through door dash?? What does it matter where I order pickup from? Then turn off DoorDash pick up if it’s an issue. The lady employee ended up giving me my order but told me not to do that ever again. I’ve never had an issue picking up my PICK UP order from here before regardless it be DoorDash or Starbucks app. I’m assuming the lady thought it was a delivery order when in fact it never was and I even followed the instructions by showing them the pick up receipt. If DoorDash pick up is not longer allowed take it off the app.

Stopped on a roadtrip and while we rarely stop into a starbucks, often only spot for a snack/coffee and restroom break. Service was good here. Wait was not too long.

The cashier at the Benjamin Holt Store was exceptionally friendly, making the experience enjoyable right from the start. I walked in was never welcomed in. I stood and waiting for an unusually long time and was never acknowledged. Not busy, 2:30pm, empty. The workers laughed as I turned around and left. Depressing. This Starbuck’s use to be the best customer service, coffee and food. I will not return.
