Has our society broken down so bad that we are no longer willing to listen?
843 W Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA 93534
The Starbucks located at the above address was my first time attending this store and upon sitting outside and speaking to someone at the table I leaned my head back and almost hit my head on the door to this building.
I simply thought someone had left the door open by mistake so I pushed it to be closed. Within 10 mins the manager of this location by the name of “Dan”, came out screeming at me, wouldn’t allow me to speak, and began to accost me for closing the door.
My guest at the table began to defend me, saying it was an honest mistake and Dan began to scream at us publicly.
When I contined to try to speak up to offer my apologies and explain what had happened “Dan” cotninued screaming and yelling at me in which he then took it upon himself to begin stating that my friend at the table began to threaten him.
When I said that wasn’t true Dan continued to scream in my face saying we were both banned.
Dan, who was parked in a “red zone” in front of the store to unload his milk delivery for the store who was not dressed in a Starbucks uniform, and was already in the store when I closed the door, took what was a simple misunderstanding as an opportunity to publicly embarress me.
This was my first and last time here. I was brought to tears after this experience and couldn’t believe what had unraveled in front of my eyes.
I will never be returning to this location until an apology is made by this company.
By the time I left I had more white hairs than when I first walked in but my drink was delicious.
