Title: Disappointing experience – Professionalism and inclusivity lacking / Location – 480 N Main St, Corona, CA 92878

I am beyond disappointed with my visit to this location today. I placed a mobile order, which took an unusually long time to be ready. When I finally received my cappuccino, the quality was subpar (as seen in the attached photo).

However, the most upsetting part wasn’t the coffee, but the behavior of the staff. I watched the barista greet every customer walking in with a bright “Hi, welcome!” and hand out drinks with a cheerful “Thank you, have a great day!” Yet, when it was my turn, the silence was deafening. There was no greeting, no eye contact, and no parting words.

It was a clear case of “selective kindness.” While she didn’t use any verbal slurs, her body language spoke volumes. It felt as though she was intentionally excluding me from the basic courtesy she extended to others of different racial backgrounds.

I’ve read news reports about discrimination at Starbucks and always hoped I wouldn’t experience it myself. It is hard to believe that such a global brand provides this level of customer service training. Discrimination isn’t always loud; sometimes it’s felt through coldness and exclusion.

I wanted to ask for her name, but I was too stunned by her unprofessionalism. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the importance of treating ALL customers with equal respect. I will not be returning to this location.

I’m not a big Starbucks guy, but I often have to pick up orders for clients with some ingredients I can’t even pronounce. thank goodness for the folks here that helped me figure out some drinks selections that’s some of my clients had. Drive-through was quick, communication was clear. And the young Cashier was extremely friendly and helpful.

There was a time when Starbucks started to lose their great service. Somehow it’s back and this location is no exception. Very friendly and my bearded dragon was smiling from all the attention she was getting. Nice spot to study or just chill with great coffee.

I’m not usually a Starbucks fan, but this location might have won me over. I’ve visited a few mornings and ordered the same drink each time and it’s consistently good, if not better, every visit! The staff is friendly and genuinely seem to enjoy working together, which makes the atmosphere really pleasant. The seating is comfortable, there are plenty of outlets, and the space is fairly clean (just could use a mop here and there) plus – free WiFi!

Upon entering, I was greeted by a lobby so warm and inviting, I felt like I had just walked into a cozy hug. The baristas were all smiles, ready to embark on this coffee expedition with me. I wasted no time in ordering my beloved Sweet Vanilla Cold Brew, praying that it would dance on my taste buds like a sugary symphony. As soon as I took my first sip, it was as if a choir of angels had descended upon my taste buds. The combination of smooth, velvety cold brew and the sweet vanilla notes sent my senses into a delightful frenzy. The coffee gods must have gathered in a heavenly board meeting to concoct such perfection.

My experience at Starbucks Corona North Main St. was nothing short of extraordinary. With their great coffee, welcoming ambiance, and the ability to whip up a Sweet Vanilla Cold Brew that could make even the grumpiest of souls break into a spontaneous dance routine, this place deserves all the coffee-loving accolades it can get. After waiting 20 minutes, got up to see what was taking so long and my order was on the pick up counter. The order status screen next to the counter still said my order was in progress. An employee said it was sitting there for a while. So if it was done then why didn’t they call out the name and/or update the status?
My sandwich was cold.
I will not be returning.

I ordered an iced sugar cookie latte with sugar cookie cold foam. With a hot chestnut praline. This is the second time that they messed up the same drink and it seems to be the same girl that messes up the same drinks. She is the tall heavy set girl with dark brown/black hair that works the hot coffee bar. She worked Friday, Sunday, and Monday. My wife and I have confronted her several times on the fact that the drinks were wrong and every time she catches an attitude with us. And messes up the drinks AGAIN, either missing an ingredient that was paid for or not making the right drink at all. All this just to keep telling her that it’s not what’s on the sticker. At long last she finishes the drinks and when you taste it, it’s either watered down or has no flavor whatsoever. So now I just think she’s intentionally making the drinks wrong. Either she needs retraining or she needs to be replaced. We will be taking out business elsewhere.
