As a thriller and romance author, I enjoy escaping the office for a good warm drink. The Starbucks on Jackson Drive was a great place to sit down with a cup of tea and get work done on my thriller novel, The Bone Road. As a thriller and romance author, I appreciate Starbucks’ interior design and the consistency they deliver from location to location.

One standout feature at this store is the large graphic wall sign that reads, “Pour Your Heart Into It.” While working, that message genuinely stuck with me and served as a quiet reminder to keep pushing and do my best.

This location sits on the corner of a busy thoroughfare near Grossmont Center, making it an easy stop whether you’re heading into or out of the mall.

The staff was courteous, efficient, and had my drink ready quickly so I could get right back to work. I appreciate this location and would gladly stop here again.

Great experience at the Starbucks drive-thru! The service was fast, friendly, and genuinely attentive. My caramel macchiato was made perfectly — rich, smooth, and balanced just right. It’s always nice when a quick stop feels this easy and pleasant. I’ll definitely be returning to this location!

Love that I can go into the bank and also there is a Starbucks just a few feet away and it’s a small one and there’s no place to sit, but it’s definitely a place to grab and go . The green tea Matcha with strawberry foam was so good that’s like my go to right now. It’s just it’s a different flavor and it just blends well together and yeah, the girls who I’ve seen work there are really sweet. Very nice.

This was a clean bright smaller Starbucks. While there were no other customers inside it took awhile to get our drink, longer than we ever wait at other places. Our drink was satisfactory at least.

The worst Starbucks, I ordered a grande cappuccino and it was less than half full and just foam, it didn’t even weigh anything. I couldn’t return my cup because I didn’t have time, but I wouldn’t accept something like that again. 0/10

Come in today because there were two promotion at all Starbucks. Cashier was reluctant to honor one even though I showed an email I received an hour earlier from Starbucks. Didn’t honor the other promotion – but saw two groups walk in and she happily gave them it no questions asked.
Go to other local coffee chains, better coffee better staff.

I usually have great experiences at this Starbucks, but unfortunately, my visit today was frustrating. Miriam, the employee taking my order, was condescending and corrected me multiple times, even when it wasn’t necessary. It made the ordering process feel uncomfortable rather than welcoming. To make matters worse, my order was prepared incorrectly, despite her insistence on “fixing” how I placed it. The pic is of a “lavender” cold foam w matcha- there’s no lavender.

So frustrating I did a order for pick up online after dropping my daughter off at school. The drive thru was so packed it was all the way into the street. Even if I could get in I wouldn’t be able to get out and there was like two available parking spots but you couldn’t even park due to being blocked by the drive thru line. I ended up just leaving my order because it wasn’t happening. Didn’t even issue a refund.

service is friendly but it’s kind of annoying that my drip coffee gets put in line with all other drinks.. it was much faster when the register person just got it. also, they only have pike at 11am.. Pike is not very good.

Running out of the signature, seasonal drinks in the middle of the day 90% of people are ordering right now, is poor management. Either order a surplus or don’t offer them at all. Additionally, my wife ordered an oatmilk shaken espresso with LIGHT ice, not a 8 dollar cup of ice with a sneeze of drink. Does THIS look like light ice to you? Get it together.
