Starbucks is such a well known coffee shop, it hardly needs reviews on the quality of its coffee. However, the quality of the Partners is something I truly believe needs to happen more! This Starbucks in Dayton is amazing for so many reasons, but there is one employee who shines above and ALWAYS takes such good care of his customers. Antonio! He is such a delightful, kind, caring individual who truly understands the customers he serves. I go to this Starbucks a lot, and when he is there, I know without a doubt we are going to be taken care of in such a special way. Thank you Antonio, for everything you do!! It does not go unnoticed!

I love getting stuff from here. However today I went to get my normal drink, $6 and I get up to the window pay, and realized it was $12. I’m now down $18, and have no idea what when I’ll get my money back. I didn’t have the money to still pay for my drink after paying for someone else’s food so I had to pull extra money just to be able to get my drink because the person working wasn’t paying attention to the orders. This is just disappointing.

I am so disappointed to write a negative review I have always raved about the customer service at this location and how amazing the baristas are. I placed a mobile order while checking out of the grocery store at finished quicker than when my order was completed. There was no one in the drive through or behind me, The first guy who I spoke to was very kind but some lady cut him off and took over and I was told by the lady that I need to wait until my order is completed in the app. Mind you that feature doesn’t work 99% of the time. What’s the difference if I just ordered it In the drive-through?! This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with Starbucks. It has me never wanting to go back again. I didn’t deserve to be lectured because my one coffee and one food item wasn’t ready. I would have happily waited at the window for it to be ready instead I left not even wanting it anymore.

The other day I went in and I was having a day where my stress was eating me alive and I just needed a caffeine overload! Immediately one of the baristas greeted me kindly per usual, but as time went on the young lady was exceeding expectations. All of a sudden, my stress was getting lifted. I asked the young lady her name, and with a big smile, she said “Sophie!”. What an awesome employee you have. I will be back again because of her!

I went in and asked got a customer drink. A venti cup filled with coconut milk, one espresso shot, and one pump of vanilla. What I got was a cup of ice, and the line of coffee was only half way up the cup. They took my payment including a tip before giving it to me. I’ve been told that they have to rush every order or they get in trouble and it really showed today. I feel like they took my money and I didn’t even get what I paid for. They messed it up. It was the wrong milk, they missed the vanilla, and I got maybe 5 sips of coffee.
