I should start with the fact I don’t drink coffee and went there for breakfast. The breakfast is certainly not good. It is just reheated sandwiches that lack flavor. You are better off at a place that cooks on site. The service is really friendly and fast. As for atmosphere, it is a regular Starbucks.

I stop by this Starbucks in Cedar Hills pretty regularly, usually to pick up a drink for my wife, and I’ve noticed a huge difference in quality depending on who’s working.

Some days, the drink looks like it was just quickly cobbled together — half full, sloppy, and missing that attention to detail you expect from Starbucks. Those are the disappointing visits where you leave feeling like you wasted your money.

Then there are the good days — when one of the baristas (you can tell they care) is on shift — and the attention to detail really shows. The drink is filled perfectly to the top, the presentation is beautiful. You can tell that person takes pride in their work, and it really makes a difference. There is however always a kind note on the cup or a smiley face and the word “Enjoy!” which is a sweet gesture, but doesn’t make up for a mediocre beverage.

It just feels like this location needs more consistency overall. The good days prove they can get it right — but you shouldn’t have to hope for the “right” person to be working to get a decent drink.

Bottom line:
✅ Great presentation and care sometimes
❌ Half-hearted drinks too often
⭐️ Could easily be a 5-star location if they tightened up consistency and quality control

I wish it could be a good experience every time instead of just sometimes.

You should definitely come to this location!! I had a problem with a dasher stealing my food. The wonderful people at this store, bless them, they worked with me to ensure I still got my order. They took the extra step to help me and I am so grateful to them for it. The people here are wonderful and have my business for life. I will go out of my way to support this location. Thank you for the delicious drinks and your commitment to providing top notch customer service, y’all are fan-flipping-tastic!!

I have decided to edit my review after the fourth incorrectly made drink in the past month. I order via the mobile app, choose hot coffee and a latte that I want and it comes out iced. Four times now in the past month. This location needs training. Also the contact us page you sent me does nothing, just a dead end link to nowhere.

It’s a great crew but they constantly give me an iced drink when I didn’t order an iced drink. It’s very frustrating and happens more than it should. Like five times now the past few months

I have been consistently coming here for a few weeks now and I have not had one bad experience yet. I am coming from Lehi, which is closer to a few other Starbucks along the way and this Starbucks seems to be the best in the area so far. The people at the window are always friendly give me compliments and in a good mood. I have never had issues when I submit a mobile order to be picked up quickly through the drive-through. This has become my go to Starbucks since I have to drive this way in the morning and it is apparently managed well and has good people. A good positive person in the morning goes along way For people throughout the day.

My current go to drink is an ice brown sugar, shaken espresso with vanilla cream instead of oatmeal. It’s consistently made well, and I have never had to return one to ask forit to be re-made.

So the staff I’ve never had issues with they have always been super quick and nice. I went through the drive thru yesterday morning and once I got to the window to pay he said there’s a quick question before you can tap your card … always the tip question… but it wasn’t there this time and I thought huh weird … but went on with my day … come home check my balance and he charged me a $5 tip …. most likely on accident… but still wasn’t expecting that…
