Went in to get a water the dude was soooo annoyed I asked a tap water he said no. I was like okayyy weird response all I asked for was water. And the dude says very rudely you have to buy something to get a water here. Okay no problem but the dude just stares like he’s dead inside. Doesn’t recommend anything that would qualify for a free water. Does it have to be a drink? Can I buy something baking? Can I buy a smaller item that isn’t $7. Just stares so I ask him. What qualifies as something I can buy for a water. Hoping he’d say like oh here a dollar item or a cake pop or SOMETHING. And he’s like you need to buy something in order to get a water. VERY SNAPY. That’s not what I asked, but OK. Got a drink I didn’t drink for my water. Awful atmosphere in customer service. It’s soooo hard to grab TAP WATER. Just a sad human being who HAD to make a more complicated drink. Last I heard workers don’t get commission for making drinks so why the hostile behavior and awful customer service..

Disappointed i go to this star bucks every morning before work and spend money the one day i just ask for water the cashier thats an older lady with glasses gives me a dirty look and is rude saying i have to buy a bottle which I did end up paying for i just dont understand why the nasty attitude like I was trying to come up on a free water like i cant afford a bottle of water which is insane i’m definitely not buying from here anymore

There was a small mix up with my order and the manger who I believe was named Robin was incredibly mean to the lovely girl who took our order named River she talked down to her and demeaned her in front of the full store and she was about to cry no manager should be taking to employees like that period especially in front of guests I was incredibly embarrassed by the managers behavior as she was also yelling at all the staff in the store

Agreed with all the other negative reviews. If you are looking for a pleasant experience worth your money, this is not it. I walked in and stood behind a lady before her telling me to go up to the counter as she wasn’t in line. I thanked her and walked up. No one at the counter. Fair, they’re busy completing orders ahead of me. So I wait. Not a single greet from an employee. Another man walks in and walks up standing slightly behind me. Employee went straight to the register greets and asks for his order, without acknowledging me. I’m standing there looking around, other customers are staring. I walk out. Maybe it’s cause he had a shopping bag and was well dressed and I wasn’t? Maybe I didn’t look like I could afford a $10 coffee lol. I admit I didn’t try to dress to impress, so whatever. If you are an employer and someone has THIS Starbucks listed in their job history – run and FAST. I’ve worked in customer service and now manage a business where I hire and fire. I’d like a fair warning if I frequent places and received an application from someone who came from said places that didn’t prioritize certain etiquettes and mannerisms in the service/sales industry. Goodluck out there – human decency and customer service is hard to come by, at this Starbucks apparently.

This is by far the worst Starbucks experience I’ve had in Denver. The latte tasted like plain milk with almost no coffee flavor. They don’t even offer a simple cup of water without charging. The staff is rude — the middle-aged man with glasses was dismissive when I asked for water, and the woman serving bakery items wasn’t even wearing gloves, which felt very unhygienic.

Definitely not recommended.
