What a wonderful group of morning college baristas! So friendly full of smiles.

Located on corner of Sam Houston Avenue and Avenue I. Very close to College.

I stopped by here for few hours to catch up on some work and enjoy this recently built interior. (2022) It offers good-sized parking with about twenty spaces.

I ordered in my personal cup, Earl Grey Black Tea with Perfect Protein Bar. The Hot Tea was good as usual full of Lavender and Bergamot flavors. Protein bar, I wouldn’t recommend. It has a strange texture and taste to it… Sandy. But I know most Starbucks locations carry them. Not my cup of tea.

This modern space is large, brightly lit and inviting. Plenty of seating for you to relax, work or study if you’re a college student.

As soon as you walk in, you will find to the left a spot to place and Pick-Up your order, along with two tall tables with four chairs. To the right, you’ll find one large leather bench with plenty of outlets and USB ports, four tables and three chairs.

Additionally, you’ll discover against large corners of the windows, conference-sized table with six chairs. Also available inside, five tables with ten chairs.

The hard-covered patio is pretty large, allowing you to spread out and not feel crowded. Here, you can enjoy ten tables with twenty-four chairs.

Overall, it was a great experience and I’m looking forward to returning.

I go to Starbucks every single day. Sometimes twice a day. My usual order is a cup of trenta water and a random pastry. Sometimes I’ll go a get a water and an egg pesto sandwich. Whenever I go and get my water and pastry I don’t want the pastry. I buy it cause of the new policy. So I tell them to keep it for themselves, hand it out to a random customer to make thier day or not make it at all. Which ever floats their boats. I always tip as well. Sometimes a dollar sometimes more. Starbucks always makes my day cause they’re so nice and I usually get something cute drawn on my cup which I love. Not this place. They ignore what I say each time and it always ruins my day when I come to this store. Today I ordered my usual water no ice and a random pastry. Told them what I usually do. They added ice , gave me the wrong size cup, and gave me the pasty. When I pointed this out they looked frustrated I was complaining and said they can’t do anything with the pastry and I either take it or they throw it away. Wasting food is just disgusting so I took it and gave it to a friend at jack in the box. My mood just goes sour every time I go here. So I’m avoiding this place from now on. I’ll stick to the one on highway 30. Never again.

Apparently there was 2 people attending the store, my wife asked ask the barista when they were going to attend us and he said, with an attitude, in a minute, a few more minutes passed, and I asked a girl, excuse when are you going to our order, and she smile and said, just give a minute but she kept taking orders from the drive thru, that when I’ve decided to take my family to a different location, we waited for about 15 minutes waiting for them to take our order, never mind how long was going to take for them to make our drinks!! Not recommended nor we will stop here again !! This location needs a better employees

I’ve come here periodically and have never had an issue until last week. I put in a mobile order for 5 drinks on 10/27. Two of which were the caramel ribbon crunch with extra caramel crunch. When I saw the drinks didn’t have any visible caramel crunches I asked the barista whose name started with an A if she could put some crunch on top because there was none on top or bottom. She looked at one of the drinks and pointed out a single “crunch” piece and said there’s one and that there was not supposed to be any caramel crunch at the bottom. I said I had the drink for years and have always had it at least at the bottom. She told me “well you don’t make them, I do” and I told her she didn’t make it correctly. She made a weird noise of frustration but did offer to remake my drinks eventually but I had to leave for work. I don’t understand unnecessarily rude people. If I had been rude first I’d understand. But this was a small request and her attitude was inexcusable

I went in to pick up a DoorDash order. I didn’t shove my phone in anyone’s face, and I wasn’t rude. The workers just ignored me while pretending to be busy — and I know exactly what that looks like because I’ve done the same thing at my own job.
Condescending employees trying way too hard to feel important in a job that isn’t complicated.

The staff here I think are struggling. They hardly ever have enough people and so I literally had to order on the app to get any service inside, and they seemed to be in not so great moods. The drink itself didn’t taste right but it wasn’t bad. The music in this location is not great for studying as I can still hear it while my music plays in my headphones.

Its really unfortunate that this is the only starbucks on my way to school. Every time I order ahead for a drink, I usually do it when I’m 10 minutes up the road, then when I get there, it takes another 10-15 minutes to get my drink waiting inside. The last time I ordered ahead, I got there, waited inside (there was one person already waiting, and another that just checked out), and sat there while one of the baristas took a while to start my drink, then left it sitting in the blender for a while as he made 2 more drinks, then he stood around for a bit before finally dumping my drink into the cup and let it sit there again while starting yet another drink. It took nearly 20 minutes from the time I ordered to when I got the drink, and my order spent most of the time just sitting there, melting. I came back today (4/24), and decided to try pick up in the drive through. It was much faster than going inside, so I was happy about that, but when I got to school and took a sip, I noticed there was a hair embedded in the drink that didn’t match the color of mine. One of the worst starbucks.

There appears to be newer staff at this location and they were not very pleasant. I ordered a Venti sized drink through the drive thru and realized the cup was not full as it should have been. I drove back around and showed the young lady in the window and she instructed me to “park” and that my drink would be brought out. I waited outside 15 minutes watching as she and one of her coworkers walked in and out of the barista station angrily. I then walked inside to speak with the person at the register who was also extremely rude, asking me if I was instructed to come inside or just to park with an attitude. She remade the drink and slammed it down on the counter and walked away. (Pictured is the first drink on the left, remade drink on the right).

I don’t usually leave complaints, but this is the third time I’ve had this issue at this location. I ordered a Venti, but my drink was barely filled—less than half the cup, which is really disappointing. If I’m paying for a Venti, I expect it to be filled accordingly, not served like a Grande. I’m a regular customer and usually enjoy coming to this Starbucks, but the last few visits have been frustrating.
