Literally always out of flavors. Today at 830am on November 19th they are out of peppermint for my white chocolate mocha which they have so proudly advertised for the season. Then my change was 2 cents. They didn’t have 2 cents to give back to me. I could care less about the 2 cents but I’ve never been outright told, hey we don’t have your change. lol. The Hy-vee Starbucks is a million times better I just look like a rag doll right now and didn’t want to step out of my car to see the world looking like such. Also, are they out of whip cream too? This was not an exciting festive coffee trip I was so hoping to delight in and the coffee was $8.

I got a hot tea with ice cubes so I was able.to drink ot right away. I was handed the cup and it was to hot to hold and then the lid poped off and spilled hot to all over my hand. The company should know tjat the water comming out of the coffe machine is all ways to hot at least 170.

I’ve ordered from this locations Starbucks a couple of times and continue to be disappointed with the presentation. The drinks taste water down. It seems as if the baristas have no experience.

Excellent customer service! The cashier was so helpful and polite! My coffee was perfect! The pumpkin slice was soft and warm! Enjoyed my visit to this location.

I had a great experience here. Nice staff and very clean atmosphere. While super overpriced, as most places are these days, my drink was great. I had no issues, but it was also later in the evening. Nice place to relax and get some writing done.

Overall, I had a good experience at Starbucks. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was well-prepared. The only downside was my interaction with an employee named Hanna, who was rude and unprofessional. Aside from that, the visit was pleasant.

Not all Starbucks are created equal! I go here regularly, and usually the food and service are great, but I usually order for 1! Less often, I order for 4-5. Today, I ordered for 4, including a peppermint mocha, holiday flavor. I was given a plain mocha.
I specifically ordered kid (size) peppermint hot chocolates. They were peppermint flavored, but hotter than kid temp! If you’re not familiar, when hot items are requested for kids/kid size, the water is heated to a lower temp than the coffees/teas are. When I got home, my kiddos added hot cocoa mix to the hot chocolates, too. (A “short” is the same size as a “kid”, but it’s prepared at a hotter temp than the “kid”.)
The restaurant was clean, but not festive. Numerous bags of coffee were on display for sale, but just 2 styles of mugs were on display for merchandise. It looks like a newer store but the style isn’t as interesting as other locations (yes, I go to locations in other cities, including the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Chicago).
If you want merchandise, though, go to the Starbucks at Hy-Vee.
