I would like to leave feedback about my recent experience at Starbucks. Unfortunately, the interaction with one of the employees Ivan
was unpleasant due to a rude response. I asked a simple question about my order, but the reply was dismissive and unfriendly, which negatively affected my visit.

I understand that the job can be stressful, however respectful communication with customers is very important. I hope this situation can be addressed and that staff will be reminded of customer service standards.

How difficult is it to give a customer a cold croissant in the package? Evidently at this location it’s extremely confusing. I LOVE having to get back into the drive through line 8 cars deep to get my order corrected and have the surly, sassy condescending flamboyant dude say thank you! It ain’t my problem you’re having a bad day bro and it ain’t my problem you’re behind that counter on a Saturday. Stay mad. Also, thanks for NOT apologizing for YOUR mistake. Another Starbucks store didn’t add syrup I wanted to my latte and I came here to remake it. They fully redid my coffee and on top of that, Nice and very friendly barista – gentleman offered me free “reload card” for my next drink. Oh wow I was so surprised. Thanks very much

So..(This was a week ago Sat )I am a Chicago transit athority bus operator working the 90 harlem rt on Saturdays for at least 5 mos.The harlem/ higgins blue line train terminal is being renovated so,there is No restroom available to us.I have had very pleasant conversations with a few of the workers in starbucks.There is one in particular ,I had the pleasure of sharing with her a recent trip i took to the Bahamas.To say the least i was very suprised when i asked her for the code to use the restroom and she replied,”You have to make a purchase first”. ( I was Not on my lunch,and did not have the time to buy smthng and use the restroom before my scheduled time to depart from the terminal) …WOW !!! I Fully understand the protocol….but when you have A REGULAR PAYING CUSTOMER IN NEED,WELL….to say the least !!

MY disappointment with the service my group and I received at your location during our recent visit. As usual, we placed our order for Venti Refreshers, but we were given Grande sizes instead. When we brought this to the staff’s attention, the employee insisted that we had ordered the smaller size. We offered to pay the price difference to correct the mistake, but she refused, stating that they couldn’t change the order without involving the office.

Additionally, we were not provided with a receipt at the time of purchase. When we mentioned this, she stated that receipts are not given automatically. However, I later purchased a cup and was given a receipt without asking, which contradicted her earlier statement. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was told that the same employee handling our issue was the manager.

I found this interaction to be highly unprofessional and disrespectful. We were made to wait unnecessarily for something that could have been easily resolved. Upon receiving both receipts, we realized that the price difference was only 50 cents—an issue that could have been resolved promptly if handled properly.

Furthermore, we felt discriminated against during this interaction. As Hispanic customers, we found it concerning that the manager called over an African American employee to address our concerns instead of handling them directly. This made us feel as though we were being treated unfairly due to our background.

I strongly urge you to provide better training for your staff to ensure a more professional and respectful customer service experience. Situations like this should be handled with care and fairness, regardless of a customer’s background. I
