I have been a loyal customer of Starbucks for as long as I can remember. Sure, some variations of quality or customer service from store to store but otherwise reliable and consistent. At the Oswego,IL store off Route 34, be prepared to experience an anxiety-evoking parking lot. Without a doubt, each time I venture to this location to either pickup my mobile order or wait in the drive through, my blood pressure spikes. This store has the most jacked up entrance/exit for customers that cause confusion and frustration. To best explain, as you pull into the parking lot, you can go straight into a lot of neighboring businesses or go left into the store’s lot or choose the drive through. However, upon pulling in, there are signs and road mark indicating to drivers “don’t block the entrance.” Every. Single. Time. Someone is blocking the way. Today, I was waiting in the drive through line that extends to the neighboring parking lot, which appears to be a gap in the drive through line to those not paying attention. A car cut in front of me and 5 other cars waiting in line AND blocked all traffic going in and out of the store. Neither signs nor roadmarks nor cars nor honking grabbed the attention of this driver. Be prepared for waiting and the type of frustration that leads you to composing a rant in Google Reviews. I do love the latte I purchased though!

Just take the mobile order service away. Everytime I do a mobile order its always longer than 10 minutes. What is the point of ordering ahead? Then the lady in front told me it had only been 8 minutes. Its a mobile order why isn’t anyone working on it? I had to ask them to START working on it. I didn’t come inside to stand around and look stupid. I ordered ahead because I have somewhere to be. I never have this issue at other starbucks hill ave, ogden, orchard. This one is terrible and the workers are very rude.

I went to this location and had accidentally did a mobile order to a different Starbucks. When I went up to the counter to look for my order, I quickly realized it wasn’t there and I probably made a mistake. The lady at the counter asked me what my order was and they made me another one, at no charge. They were so kind about it too and just took care of it.

20 years later and this location remains one of my favorites. Best inside layout and although it’s one of the busier locations, the employees are always so friendly. Also, playlist variety here rocks. Thank you Starbucks team!

Ordered coffee and got hot water with a slight brownish discoloration. I don’t think that coffee should be transparent…2 stars because espresso shots and cake pop was good. Starbucks Oswego needs to improve on some products quality.

Staff = Great. Coffee = Great. Parking Lot = BOO! Only problem with this joint is during the 3:00 coffee rust it’s impossible to get in and out of.

Slowest service possible. Figured to go inside and order instead of the drive thru, it took even longer to get my order which was a simple iced coffee. Honestly ridiculous.

This is consistently the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. The first time, the drive-thru was so slow that I eventually went inside to order. The second time, with 4 cars in front of me, it took over 12 minutes from the time I ordered to even get to the window to pay. The third time, as shown in the picture below, it took 10 minutes from the time I ordered to the time I had my drink in my hand, and there were only two cars in front of me in line. Time to find a new Starbucks: 3 strikes you’re out.
