Oh my gosh, this is by far the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. All we got was two matcha lattes iced and we sat in line for over 10 minutes. Then when we got to the window, the obnoxious barista Nicole was so rude unapologetic. You can tell my lattes are barely even mixed because the powder is all clumped up. This Starbucks is awful. We typically go to the one out by us in DeKalb and they are a million times better. This one could take some lessons.

Just like any Starbucks, consistent coffee flavor and good facilities. This one has a nice indoor and outdoor area and convenient drive-thru.

This location is small, may not be the roomiest or best for getting work done, but I’ve always had average to above average service here. I don’t think ever any issues with staff or ordering. I’ll sometimes come to sit, but mostly for take out.

I asked for a frappe cookie mocha crumble, and I got the wrong order, but then I tasted it and it tasted like a completely water. It tasted like it’s been out for long and it wasn’t made brand new. they had no coffee it didn’t taste like no coffee at all and I was very unhappy especially cuz I was try To enjoy my coffee because I have work and need it energy and I understand sometimes people order coffees and then they don’t want it but to give it to me that’s not right at all. I don’t want nobody leftovers.

This location is extremely hard to get in and out of because of the way the parking lot is arraigned in relation to the road and major intersection it’s next to. It causes traffic back-ups in the left turn lanes from Schmale. I went on a whim today and ordered an ice coffee with light ice. It had a lot of ice and that “first sip feeling” tasted watered down. I took the ice out and a third of my $5.00+ drink was gone. Disappointing, I don’t think I’ll be giving into any Starbucks whims again anytime soon.

I visited this establishment yesterday, for the first time, and ordered a White Chocolate Mocha with almond milk no whip, hot, and an Impossible sandwich.

I must first say that I appreciate the drink NOT tasting like the cup (I.e. the film that coats the inside of it.) It was a “mild” trace of it, but didn’t “overpower” the taste of the drink, which was appreciated.

Most Starbucks, nowadays, their hot drinks taste like the “film” that coats the inside of the cups; it’s an unpleasant taste. This was never an issue for me over the years, until about 1 year ago, maybe a little more…

I, literally, used to visit Starbucks EVERY day, 2 – 3 times / day, but don’t anymore because of the “film tasting” cups, for hot drinks, and the limited drink options for my sensitive stomach; I can only have the white chocolate mocha with almond milk, no whip, and the mocha cookie crumble with almond milk, no whip.

Syrups bother my stomach, so I can’t have their other drinks…

Anyway, the Impossible sandwich, from here, like most Starbucks locations I’ve visited, was still cold in some spots, mainly the center. Per usual, I had to throw away most of the sandwich (25 – 50% of the sandwich, as I don’t reheat it.)

I don’t like going back to complain about food. So, I toss the food and don’t return.

There are 2 Starbucks locations that “perfect” heating the Impossible sandwich, and they are the ones on Jefferson Avenue, in Joliet, IL, and the one on 75th Street, in Naperville, IL.

Every time I order the Impossible sandwich from those 2 locations, they’re hot thoroughly, and I never have to throw away any parts of my sandwich.

I wish I could order a sandwich AND hot coffee from ANY Starbucks, as I prefer getting my “entire” breakfast from one restaurant, instead of going to Starbucks for the coffee, and going elsewhere for the sandwich, etc.

Maybe if Starbucks could see how those 2 locations are heating their Impossible sandwiches, and implement it across all their stores, it’ll make a better experience for “non meat,” and / or “non pork” eaters, like myself.

My only other suggestion is the amount of foam was about 1 – 1.5 inches, which is a little excessive. (Some Starbucks locations don’t make that much foam, and the drink is still piping hot. This is appreciated, as the foam is tossed.)

Other than that, I loved the taste of the drink at this location, the presentation of the cup (which was clean with no stains), and the service was ok.

Thank you.

The manager of this location “Must” look at the communication and customer service level of some of the new staff!! There are basic etiquette that should be followed. Please do. Some training is required. Thank you.

We pulled into the drive-thru, hoping to get a quick breakfast before work and camp classes. Ready to place our order, we waited for a response from inside the Starbucks. A few minutes passed without communication, so I said hello to check if anyone was on the other end. When I didn’t hear anything, I decided to pull forward.

When I arrived at the window, the cashier, along with another woman whom I presumed to be the manager, rudely told me that I had to drive around and get back in line. I explained that I wasn’t sure if the speaker was working since I hadn’t heard anyone, but she responded with a nasty attitude, saying, “You need to give us more time, and now you need to drive around and get back in line.”

I explained that we didn’t have time to get back in the long line and asked if I could simply place my order at the window. She refused, so we ended up going to another Starbucks for service.

I am surprised and disappointed by the lack of professionalism with which 596 E. North Ave., Carol Stream Starbucks treats its customers.

this place was amazing, they accepted my request to slightly lower the music as I was on a business call for a brief period of time.

Will certainly be returning

I always go to this location since it’s closest to home, however, I feel there’s some lack of training. I usually order a dragon drink or pink drink which both include coconut milk. Yesterday I went to pick up my order and the coconut milk was separated on the top just floating like a cloud. This happens most of the time where it separates. I have to keep asking for them to add a little more coconut milk. Today, I asked for light ice. Picture included is of the “light ice”. I paid for a Venti and got a Tall.
Edit to add: Second picture is today, a month or so later. Decided to order a Dragon drink which should have coconut milk and that’s what I got.. you can see the “white” on the top and half of that was just foam from the mixing so there was very little coconut milk, therefore it separates!
