I’ve been here a couple of times since it has been at this location. The staff went above and beyond during the summer of 2025. My autistic kiddo was having a day so we decided to steal moons. I went in and ordered cake pops and asked the staff if they could write Jupiter and Saturns moons and earths moon and chase me out after handing it to me (i did pay) so that it would give it a more real feel and they did. It was so kind. Ive only ordered the cake pops and white chocolate drink but it’s always been good.

Worst starbucks ever!!!!! EVERY employee is so rude. Do they know they applied here and have to do their job? The rudest one by far is a larger woman with red hair. She sighed OMG just because she had to grab our drink that we paid for? She was too lazy to take a few steps which she clearly needs. I hope whoever owns this starbucks takes a look at how horrible every crew member is and how un welcoming this starbucks is.

I would give it zero. I placed my order at 8:33 and it said 4-7 minutes. I got to the location and to the window at 8:45. They said the order wasn’t ready and wanted me to go back around. I go back around and get to the window. I asked for the manager. I was explaining how it was unacceptable to ask me to do that. She kept interrupting. I asked her to let me talk. I said that was ridiculous. I did swear one time saying that’s BS. She goes I dont take cussing. I said I want an apology. She said I would need to leave and she walked away. I sat in the drive through until she came back. She said I would need to leave or the police would be called that I was being rude with people waiting behind me. I said all I wanted was an apology. She goes you were cussing. I said I swore once and for that I apologize. Thats what an adult does. It took her another 30 seconds before she said I’m sorry and I left. I have placed MANY online orders and have never been asked that. There was SIX cars in front of me when I came back around. My food was cold. Completely unacceptable. Im so baffled at this. NEVER going there again.

It was next level uncomfortable inside. The temperature was on artic. It is 70 degrees outside and they had the air-conditioned on blast. How can I sit inside and read a book if im shivering to death. I get the staff is moving around and it may be warm to them but to people sitting still reading WE ARE FREEZING!!! or does the customer experience not matter, as long as the employees are comfortable

Ordered 2 teas, a frap and a refresher on mobile app and when I went thru drive thru within their app pick up time they said i had too many drinks and that I would have to pull back around to wait…there was 1 car behind me and 3 out of 4 drinks were already waiting on the counter.

We visited the Starbucks in Algonquin and Lakewood Rd today around. 9am on our way to drop our son off to College. My husband ordered 2 black coffees through the drive through, one of the lids pop off as he was attempting to place the coffee on the car cup holder , his leg and hand got burned , the coffee spill all over the car transmission and the purses and bags we had in the car.
The Starbucks coffee lids seem to be defective and not able to stay out when the coffee is hot, this is very concerning as tragedies can happen in a split second. Luckily the car was placed on park and we didn’t have a car in front of us ..
I called corporate and was told they will get back to us in 3-5 business days, the local management was not so helpful … we were now stuck with a mess in our car for a long road trip not to say the possible burn injuries my husband might have .
If you visit this Starbucks request a hard plastic cup and lid .. needless to say we won’t be back .
