I went to grab a coffee after work but didn’t realize that I went as they were closing. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to still make my drink! I really appreciated their thoughtfulness and my dog appreciated his pup cup!

This is the best Starbucks in Mount Prospect. Everyone is always so warm and welcoming with positive attitudes, even when being overwhelmingly stressed by the foot traffic this location brings in. I have been a regular at this location for years and will continue to be!

I ordered a latte with banana protein cold foam and it tasted like pure milk. There was hardly any coffee in that latte. I know a latte is a lot of milk but this tasted like pure milk. No coffee in there. Very disappointed. And the banana cold foam was watery, nothing was on top.

It is located in a crowded area and may be a little inconvenient to park. However, it is easy to access because it is a place where many people come and go, and there is a delicious restaurant nearby, so it is good for drinking coffee after eating. This place is always crowded with customers, but the drinks are given as ordered, and I think the coffee tastes better.

They recently remodeled this Starbucks, and I was happy to see the baristas got a bigger space to handle the many orders they receive. However, I do wish they had kept the seating area a bit more like it was.
Today, I visited during their BOGO promotion and of course they were busier than usual, while still providing great customer service.
I ordered using a reusable cup for the first time, and the barista kindly explained how it works.
I was also delighted to find another barista with the same Starbucks cup as mine, which we’ve both had for years – that was cool!
A big thank you to the baristas working here for being awesome!

Average time sitting in their drive thru has gotten to over 20+ minutes consistently now. Ridiculous. Almost a half hour on a Saturday at 1pm today, no apologies, no courtesy sign that says ‘short staff’ or wait times longer than usual. Pathetic. You just get trapped in the line & then get to the window & they ask ‘oh do u want a free cookie?’ No. I want you to do better for your customers. Slowest Starbucks service in all of Mt P & surrounding towns. Will travel further out of my way from now on.

Please stop adding excessive amounts of ice to lattes and cold beverages. This is the second time my order has resulted in a coffee beverage that is watery nearly undrinkable. We already pay enough for them and at such cost it’s disappointing when they are 60-70% ice and become quickly watered down as a result. Everything else is great.

The floors and tables were dirty, and although the map says this location closes at 9:30 PM, the staff said they were already closed around 9:15 PM. Please update the closing hours so customers don’t arrive expecting service and find the doors locked.
