This is an amazing Starbucks. Cat the manager I believe is very impressive. She commands the whole room and makes everyone feel special. If something is taking more than a couple minutes she is checking on the guest and constantly thanking everyone. She sees regulars and immediately addresses the guest by name and reassures them that she is on their drink. Meanwhile in the drive through the gentleman greets every guest with such cheer. I should point out that this was not the slow time it was extremely busy. I can’t stress how well this Starbucks is ran. I swear the Communication amongst the staff was amazing. I have a hard name to remember and Cat always addressed me by my name several times. Just amazing.

I usually buy my drinks here and most of the times everything is okay. I understand that they’re constantly busy but that’s not reason to give me a bad drink. That happened with my last 2 orders and I’m really disappointed. Please, be a little more careful with how you prepare the drinks. I don’t like to complain for things like this but happening twice, I need to let you know.

A shout out to Steve and Jordan at this location. These two just have amazing attitudes and do whatever they can to make your experience perfect. To be clear, everyone at this location does a great job – but these individuals really standout.
I’ve always had a good experience with everything at this location, but I will say the atmosphere inside is not very cozy and feels sterile. I much prefer the location on Grand Ave if I want to go inside and sit down. They are also very friendly there.

Ignore the hate reviews the managers here are very polite and kind. They always remember frequent customers names and make you feel welcome. Sure during busy days it becomes chaotic, but that is to be expected around any rush hour environment. The manager Steve is very kind and enthusiastic about his job. Honestly, have been going through mental health stuff and having those interactions with him really cheers me up and have helped me in these uncertain times within life. He is a real good guy and honestly deserves a raise he does a very good job at his work.

I’ve been a loyal Starbucks customer for 30 plus years. Raymond has the best customer service skills I have yet to see at Starbucks. Corporate if you are looking for a trainer, this is the guy! This is how your staff should always deal with customers. He is polite and curtious yet assertive in his position. Make this guy an example of how things should run at your stores. I just stopped by this busy little coffee shop in Gurnee and I have to tell you there’s some growth potential here. I’ve never heard of this place but they offer a streamlined product with nice interiors and quality staff watch out for this company. They could really make some moves with the right leadership.

I am writing this review as I am sitting inside of the store and I wanted to say that I have had the most lovely experience while studying here this afternoon. Without even being prompted, a nice man dropped off a glass of water while I was working and it was so appreciated!! I am observing how he treats other customers as they walk in and he is extremely pleasant. I know where I will be going in the future! Thank you for a great experience.

I love this Starbucks. It’s warm, cozy, and they are mostly accommodating for kids. They have changing tables, but sadly no high chairs.
