I have been there 5+ times this year. Today I made an absolute mess this morning. I spilled my coffee luckily on nobody else besides the table. The friendly folks that were their came to my rescue. Cleaned it up promptly and offered me another coffee. It was such a nice gesture. They are such an excellent and friendly team. You can feel the warmth. Thank you!!!!!

This one is probably the best Starbucks I’ve been to. The staff across all shifts is always super nice and welcoming. They are quick and always pleasant to talk to. Cafe is spacious and clean! Kudos to the staff to keep it running well 🙂

One of the largest Starbucks I’ve been to, but also one of the dirtiest. Overflowing trash, messy condiment area, filthy bathroom, and staff not attentive. From other reviews, it seems this has been a consistent issue, so I don’t expect it will change.

Please focus on maintaining your store to higher standards, ensuring better leadership, and providing proper training for your staff. I do not wish to be contacted further. In past experiences, customer care has wasted my time with irrelevant questions instead of addressing the actual issue.

Yesterday, I arrived at this location for a business meeting, dressed professionally despite the extreme heat wave. Upon entering, I asked the cashier if I could have a cup of ice. She responded, “You have to purchase something before I can give you a cup of ice.” I replied, “Okay, I’ll think about it,” and took a seat across from a white woman I was meeting with. Once I started my conversation, the cashier decided to bring me a cup of ice.
It stood out to me because the last time I visited a separate coffee shop (not Starbucks but a different chain) during a similar heat wave, (in very casual clothing) the cashier gladly handed me a cup of ice and even pointed me to the water dispenser without hesitation.
I will never return to this location.

The manager Mr Saldana is always super friendly and just a pure joy. Starbucks usually has good service but this particular location is special. My wife and I always come here for our caffeine fix even though it’s slightly more out of the way.

Like many people, I’m a huge loyal Starbucks fan. Since my son was 6 years old, we would have “Starbucks Saturday” where I would dedicate 1 hour to him, to talk about anything he wanted over my Grande Red Eye and a Starbucks apple juice. He’s 21 now. . And for the last 12 years I’ve worked remotely at various Starbucks locations so it’s like “home” to me.
I’m writing this review because like I said, I’ve worked at many locations throughout the Chicago/suburban area, and I have to say that the Starbucks Deerfield location (Deerfield and Waukegan Rd) is hands down the BEST – best in service, best in atmosphere, best in food (always in stock) and the cleanest (which is a huge thing given not all locations are clean or have clean bathrooms).
I attribute this all to the manager, Myron who hires the best people and I can tell, runs a well managed store. Being new in the area, they knew my name and my regular order by week 2. It’s a family atmosphere where the community who come here, are friendly and the staff are professional.
One day I told the manager “I have to tell you this is the best Starbucks location I’ve ever been to…” and he said “thank you. I’ll share your feedback with the team”. That response explained it – great management, great team.
If you’re ever in downtown Deerfield and have a few min to sit down for coffee… come here…. and just take it all in. . Great friendly atmosphere !

This morning I went to Starbucks to get a coffee for my son, I said good morning, an older woman I don’t remember her name. She didn’t said good morning back I asked her for a large White iced mocha coffee. She made a rude face and turned her back on me. She didn’t talk to me anymore. She didn’t give me my receipt too She gave me an incorrect drink and charged a little over 11 dollars for my drink that is usually 6 dollars. She has taken my order a couple of times and it’s always the same with her. I’ve never had any problems at the Drive thru also everyone it’s kind but not her.
