The longest wait I’ve ever had in a Starbucks. Literally sat in line for over 30 mins. Their system was down and couldn’t take my Starbucks card from the app and didn’t share that info to anyone prior to ordering. Then, forgot one of the items I ordered. Just an overall bad experience.

Mary from Starbucks on University Avenue went above and beyond to make things right! She called last night to apologize for the mix-up and offered to have my coffee ready at the designated time for my meeting today. When I arrived, the staff greeted me with a smile, apologized again, and even gave me my coffee on the house. Great work, Mary – thank you for turning this experience around!

This Starbucks on University Avenue has been a huge disappointment. I called ahead the day before to order two traveler containers, gave them all my information, and thought I was all set. But when I arrived the next morning, the order wasn’t ready at all. Mary, thankfully, stepped up to throw it together quickly, but this was only the beginning of the headache.
The next day, I placed the same order, called again to confirm, and expected it to go smoothly this time. But, incredibly, when I arrived at the agreed time, nothing was prepared. I was told it was “just a few minutes away,” which turned into a 20-minute wait. Reira offered me an extra cup of black coffee as an apology, which slowed things down since I’d already ordered two travelers. Why add one more cup?
It’s honestly baffling how hard it is for this location to handle a simple order, especially with advance notice. If you’re planning to order something in bulk, prepare for disorganization, delays, and unnecessary frustrations.

Not sure what the night staff does differently but when I tell you this oatmilk and expresso taste like God himself came and stirred the foam from the clouds after a rainy day!!! I mean just that. The bliss I get after taking a sip from heavens very own I almost went to church, almost turned straight, almost slapped somebody’s momma, almost applied lol No but seriously give them a raise!!! Shout out to the night staff workers, I know it’s not easy but you all are doing an amazing job, keeping us going. Whoever worked today around this time you all are the real mvps!!

Hourly employees get paid a wage to work at these locations tipping is not something that is required or should be shamed for not tipping someone for pouring coffee into a cup. Yet they write “tip” on the cup when you do not. What a joke of a place if you go in and order and press no tip they would never say that to your face. Do better. Shaming people for not subsidizing your low wages for a minimal skill job is a joke.
