I love the staff at Starbucks on State Road 31 in Columbus, Indiana. They’re always friendly, hardworking, and make sure to make everyone feel welcomed there. My kiddos love them too. A couple of weeks ago I went and placed a pick up order and when I got there the workers didn’t acknowledge me at all. The pickup area had about ten other drinks that I had to look for mine through and as I was leaving with my drink after finally finding it the workers still didn’t acknowledge me or the others in the store. Not even a hello or goodbye, just having conversations with the other workers.

I went back today to do a drive thru order and placed it ahead of time. On the app it said my wait would be 4-9 minutes which was fine with me. I got to Starbucks and had to wait 25 minutes just to get a drink in my hand.

They never disappoint! They make the best drinks. Whatever you order, they make it but like 100 times better. The only location I like to go to. I’ve been out of state to several Starbucks, and this one blows all of them out of the water.

It’s dang near closing time on a Saturday night and although we frequent this location when we’re in Columbus, we’re almost never in Columbus this late. We grabbed a couple strawberry matcha things and a couple drinks for the kiddos. Even though we came by with 15min till closing (So sorry. We didn’t even think about it; just pulled in ), the window worker maintained such a cheerful disposition. Thank you so much and sorry for the late order!

**Update 12/11/25:
After going to the Starbucks on Johnathan Moore Pike twice and getting awful drinks, we went all the way to the other side of town to the Starbucks on N. Natl. Tyler at the drive thru here provided exceptional customer service from taking our order and when handing us what we ordered. Having worked in customer service for years and seeing good customer service has disappeared in almost all retail and food service, it made my day for us to receive such a positive experience. Please have this person teach others customer service and tell him and all the staff thank you! The drinks and the food were all perfect and as expected. Worth the drive to the other side of town.

Usually the better location to get your drink in this particular area. Drinks are usually made correctly, employees are usually pleasant, and service is usually timely.

The employees were very nice and helpful. The place was clean and I did have to wait a bit for my drinks but that was because they were busy. I came in on buy one get one free day, which was probably another reason. I tried the orange cream cake pop, and it was to die, for I really recommend it. It was very peaceful in the establishment, and there was even someone who was even studying in the cafe. I recommend it.

I was in starbucks on friday morning 7-18-25, i ordered 38.00 worth of beverages that included 3 cups of coffee, i paid for them, but had to ask for a tray to carry them, i would think the employees would know to put them in a tray, anyhow i took them to my car and as i was putting them in my car the lids popped off and the coffee went all over my seat and floor, i was very upset, as i came back in one of the employees give me a towel, and i took in the towel another employee tells me im dripping coffee on the side front counter instead of having a little consideration for the seat that was now covered with coffee, they replaced the coffee, but whom ever orders Starbucks should order better cups, this is not the first time this has happened at a starbucks but far worse, i think i should be compensated for the cleaning of my car seat at least and maybe some kind of a apology
