I always look forward to my visits; it’s a staple in my routine. It’s the perfect place to unwind with a good book and enjoy my morning coffee. The ambiance is always so relaxing, making it ideal for a peaceful start to the day. The staff is incredibly friendly and provides service with a smile. Its been a really rough past 7 days. My adult disabled son was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes after going into ketoacidocis last week. (Blood sugars were at 500. He almost died.) I have really been struggling with it, changing meals so they’re diabetic friendly, counting carbs, being firm with him that he cant have pasta or rice right now, no bread… etc. He’s struggling, I’m struggling, and my grocery bill doubled due to having to replace several non diabetic friendly foods with healthier options.
So today, I decided to treat myself and my husband with coffee not made at home. I almost missed the message one of the people wrote on my husband’s cup… “Smile you’re doing great! You got this ” I was in tears. I have been running on fumes for over a week, between being at the hospital for almost 4 days with my son, barely sleeping, barely eating bc now I am preparing 3 well balanced diabetic meals a day… I am completely fried.
So which ever barrista wrote this. Thank you. I know you had no idea what you wrote would matter, but it did matter to me, especially today when I have been so tired and over it all… thank you for taking the time to be kind.

I always order the pink drink with no inclusions and extra coconut milk with no problems. Today I was told they wouldn’t add the extra coconut milk and would make it like normal.
It did not look like a regular pink drink.
I was incredibly disappointed in the way it looked and tasted. So much in fact that I went to the plainfield location to get an additional cup of coconut milk for my drink and get my daughter a pink drink with no inclusions. I don’t understand how they could be the same drink but look/taste so different.

Food / drink was good, but the atmosphere barely gets 2 stars. It was cold, very loud, and the WiFi kept going out. I needed a place to work for a few hours, and I’ve been here 1 hour and my head hurts from the loud music, and then a room full of people trying to talk over it. I’ve never experienced a starbucks this loud before, and I’ve worked at many. 10/27/23 8:30-9:30 am

I got to say this place compared to Plainfield Starbucks this place is really amazing and more space and a lot more comfortable and friendly very nice Hospitality with the workers and employees here and it’s very clean place.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stop at the Avon Starbucks. I was entertaining family from out of town, returning from a trip to Indianapolis when we were sadly disappointed by the Plainfield Starbucks – they do not offer any seating. We found this out after turnling through the rain to their front door with my elderly sister in toe.
You drove the extra distance to the Avon Starbucks with which I was familiar. By the time we got there the rain had stopped, we were able to park in a handicap spot right by the door, and found the trip inside without problems.
The staff was friendly, offering suggestions to all of our questions. I got an iced latte and they warmed their damp souls with hot Java drinks of their own choosing. We found a booth and got comfortable while we soaked up our caffeinated delights shared conversation.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this Avon Starbucks.
