I go to a lot of starbucks. I always have great service at this particular one. I chose today to leave a review because I couldn’t leave a tip on the app. Apparently, if you use stars for your order and your total is zero you can’t add a tip.

I had the worst experience this morning at this location.
I placed an order for mobile pickup in the drive thru. The app said it would be ready within 5-7 minutes. After driving to the location, and waiting in the drive thru line, it was well beyond time for my order to be ready. When I arrive at the window, I was told that they have not started my order yet & that I would need to get out of the line that I just waited in, park in a spot and when the order is “ready” to come back through the drive thru…. I’m sorry what? I told the female worker that I was not willing to do that and she just quit talking. I stayed for a minute longer and asked her to cancel my order in which she said I needed to call corporate.
How is this any different from ordering directly at the speaker? Are we not able to make the drink when I arrive to the window? I waited my turn just as the 5 people in front that either had a mobile order that was “ready” or ordered directly at the window. I’m very shocked that this would be a policy at Starbucks & would rate the customer service at this location a zero star if I could.

Can I ask what the difference is between ordering on my mobile phone and then after a couple minutes, pulling up to the drive-through or if I ordered it right at the window? Whenever you pull in here after doing a mobile order, the people at the speaker play like they’re clueless as to oh my God well we just received that order so it’ll be a few minutes next time. if you give us a little bit more time maybe we’ll have it ready for you.

I go here every morning and the service is fast and friendly at the drive thru. I have the gold car on my app so it is easy to load every month order ahead and pick up quickly . They are very organized at this location in Middleburg Heighrs and always offer the newest product when ordering. They have excellent visial signage at drive thru for current offerings and the ancillary retail merchandise wall is always full and inviting. Nice outdoor patio with comfortable seating options to make you feel like you are sipping your coffee in your back yard

Went here this morning at around 625 while on my way to work ONLY because my normal place was super busy. I ordered 2 drinks (a grande shaken hazelnut oatmilk espresso and a white chocolate mocha). I waited almost 10 minutes in the drive thru for my drinks only to find out THEY WERE BOTH MADE WRONG! The shaken espresso was a BROWN SUGAR shaken espresso and the basic white mocha had caramel in it. Of course I didn’t realize until I was pulling into work, but even if I had noticed earlier, I didn’t have time to wait for them to be remade. I paid way too much for 2 drinks that were nowhere near what I had ordered (I wound up getting rid of the shaken espresso because it was not good at all). DO BETTER
