Very disappointed at the turn this Starbucks has taken. Every time I go, they are blasting obnoxious Spanish music. I never hear a word in English in the music anymore. It would be one thing if the population they served at this location primarily spoke Spanish, or if Starbucks was a Latin American company, because then there would at least be an explanation for this change. Instead, they are sending a clear message that they have a political agenda, and they are forcing all of their customers to participate in it. It is not a matter of ambience anymore, they have decided to blast their agenda in their customers’ faces. I’m sorry, Starbucks – when I am going out and spending my money at a coffee shop in America, I want to hear popular American music, or at least music in English, not music from another country. That’s basic business sense – give the customers what they want, don’t force your agenda down their throats… I am sorry to say I won’t be coming to this Starbucks anymore, as the environment has changed into something I cannot enjoy anymore. I strongly encourage the managers of this Starbucks to rethink the choices you are making with the music. You won’t alienate anyone by playing neutral music, but you will turn people off when you choose to make such a political statement with your music. Though you may feel like you have never been more successful, remember that choices like this can be all it takes to turn your customers off and run you out of business. You have lost my business for sure. I will be more than happy to frequent this beautiful coffee shop again if you return to playing the classic Starbucks brand of music we have all grown to know and love over the years.

This newly opened Starbucks is outfitted with the newest features and designs that facilitate an enjoyable experience upon each visit, including an order status screen to let you know when your in-store or in-app purchase is available on the counter. The commercial chic design was beautifully done with exposed brick, artificial plaster walls, and original artwork while staying true to their Pacific Northwest roots with the rest of the build out being done in wood. There’s a myriad of different seating arrangements for all visitors and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the cool summer mornings.

The service is absolutely horrible at this location. I ordered a drip pike place and was served my drink immediately. My friend ordered a Cortada and it took another 15 minutes for him to receive his drink, just as I finished mine.
The mobile orders are completely destroying the ability to go out and enjoy the coffee house experience as the new CEO is trying to bring back. Take care of the customers who are inside the shop first.

I’ve been a local for over 25 years and the location of this store was apt to say the least. The customer service is prompt and they always make my drink correctly. Everyone is inviting and always have a positive attitude. The store is always clean and the modern design inside is very nice. I will continue to frequent this location knowing the quality and service are top notch!
