The smell of coffee is always delightful and welcoming.
The store was clean and well kept. There was plenty of seating with tables to relax and enjoy a beverage along with the pastry of your choice.
The staff was very helpful and the service quick.
I enjoyed a cold coffee and a slice of pound cake.
I would give it an A++
I understand that stores may have policies regarding restroom use, but when a customer is already inside the store, the least one expects is respectful and courteous treatment. Unfortunately, the service I received on this occasion did not reflect the level of customer care that Starbucks usually represents.
I am writing to share feedback regarding a recent in-store experience that left my family and me quite dissatisfied, actually that’s a little bit of an understatement, I was quite annoyed at the staff that took my order, but i didn’t say anything because i was with the family, don’t want them to feel uncomfortable.
During our visit, I placed multiple drink orders along with a cake pop. Each order was straightforward: a shaken espresso with light ice, a café latte with oat milk, and a bakery item. Despite the simplicity of these requests, the ordering process felt unnecessarily drawn out.
As I attempted to place each subsequent item, the cashier repeatedly interrupted to say they were “still working on the first order” and instructed me to wait. While I understand the need for accuracy, the manner in which this was communicated felt abrupt and disruptive to the normal flow of ordering. A more customer-friendly approach, such as completing the entry silently and then politely asking for the next item would have made the interaction far smoother. If they opted for this method, i wouldn’t have had any problem repeating what i said again.
The experience was notable enough that even my spouse, who typically avoids any form of confrontation, commented on how unusual and uncomfortable the interaction felt. She even said “what is wrong with the cashier” That alone suggested this was not a standard or acceptable customer experience. In fact, I’ve never had a cashier being so rude to stop me from saying what i was saying so he/she could comfortably enter order at his/her own pace without any auditory disturbance.
I hope this feedback is helpful and that additional training can be provided to ensure staff balance accuracy with efficiency and courteous communication. Small changes in phrasing and pacing can make a significant difference in how customers perceive their visit. Make he/she needs to work on speed, rather than instructing customers to wait until they finish putting order in on the computer. I HAVE NEVER HAD an interaction like this in the past (10-15 years of going to starbucks in multiple states)
Thank you for taking the time to review this feedback.
P.S. After spending such a long time to put the order in accurately, she/he still made an error. Put my order in as grande shaken espresso instead of venti I ordered. Extra time he/she took appears to have not helped at all.
