During the time that I stood by the register watching, 4 people came up, placed an order, their orders were filled and they left. At this time, there wasn’t anyone left in line so I decided to ask Blake why we were placed last as our spinach wraps were still laying there to be cooked. She then put our spinach wraps in the oven.
Blake proceeded to explain to me that they were slammed. He said it twice but what I didn’t hear him say was.. let me look into this and find out what happened.
It actually was over 20 minutes before we received our food and the place was all cleared out and no one left in line.
I very seldom write negative reviews but I am politely letting you know that the way he handled this was wrong. Yes, they were slammed but every order should be fixed in the order they were purchased not putting everyone ahead of us because we ordered something double cooked. This was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING I was unhappy that I had to say something to Blake and he didn’t take time to see what happened, he just dismissed me after his comment of being slammed.
Unhappy to say the least.
Order 4 mobile drinks 15 minutes ahead for pickup via drive through. Drive through wait was about another 10 minutes. Once I got to the window the employee was just completely rude. I waited another 5-7 minutes at the window (with little to no interaction or induction that I was there and when I did get interaction it was just rude.)
I ordered these drinks for wife and 2 other family members. When I got home (less than a 7 minute drive) the wife informed me they were all wrong. She ordered 3 chai tea lattes and a cold brew with white mocha and chocolate mocha drizzle. Neither syrups were present and the chais tasted like just milk. (See pictures)
When we called Starbucks customer support, they said we’ve called previously with incorrect orders and that we would have to go to the store and get a refund, very rudely might I add. I never received the name of the support agent, just a hard sigh, a no and hang up.
Honestly, if you don’t want to go to work, don’t. Find another job or be an adult.
Only giving two stars because after I went back, and waited in line (inside this time) for about 10 minutes, and got the drinks remade they came out a lot closer to what was ordered. Even then they still completely missed a drink but 3/4 where now what was ordered and tasted like chai!
I shouldn’t have to go to a store 2 times and get a rude customer service experience on the phone because other people cannot do their job correctly. I ordered ahead so they could have the order correct. This isn’t the first, second or third time. It’s a hit or miss with this place. Not just in customer service / experience but in the drink creations themselves. Most times ( maybe 50-70%) my wife just fixes the drinks at home with our own syrups.
I’d say the best Starbucks in the area is the Starbucks inside target on Bloomingdale just 2-3 minutes down the road. There’s no drive through, but it’s totally worth it to get the drinks we order first go around.
Today (12-29-23), however, I received the most pathetic dragon drink, ever. Remember, I always get 2. One was sufficient. It definitely wasn’t 5 scoops of dragon fruit, but it was at least what it should have been. The second one, literally had three pieces of dragon fruit in it, and it wasn’t even the right color. I don’t know how they could give someone this drink, and think that it was ok? Even if I didn’t ask for extra, it wasn’t even enough to make it a proper dragon drink.
And also keep in mind, that I am there at least 2-3 times a week, and always get the same thing every time. It’s been this way for a while. If they don’t recognize me/my order by now, they never will. Not that I expect any special treatment, because I don’t. I just expect my drinks to be made the way I ask them to be made, when I order them. I don’t think that I’m asking too much?! Do you???
Also, I always tip, but you better believe that I revoked that tip so quickly today. Especially, after the attitude that I was given, for wanting my drink to be made properly. I think I’ll start going to the Causeway location from now on. It’s a little bit further, but at least I know that I will get what I ask for, and with a smile at that.
